    I just soldered a 100 ohm resistor to r4 and I'm getting no video out. I'm gonna remove it and see if that's the reason edit: it wasn't the resistor. on this particular board when I ground d0 I get no video out.

    @KaosEngineer sorry to ping. quick question. My xecutor came as a wire install not a pin header and I plan on converting it to a pin header. Because of this, I do not have the d0 cable I am supposed to have when utilizing a pin header install. Is this the port that is used for d0 pin header? If so, do you know where I can purchase a replica? Would using this jst still be the recommended way to setup d0?thanks.

    I just flash the xecutor 2.2. love it thanks guys. I got another question though. Does anyone know the part number for the little switches on the daughter (bank) board for the chip? They are loose and old and not very clicky.

    What are my options of bios I can flash on this chip? I know PrometheOS cant be. Anything that wil fit on flash I presume right. I picked up a box with this chip installed poorly. Im thinking about reusing it.. or is it not worth reusing?

    I've never had bad chips but that doesn't mean they don't exist. If your solder work looks like that on the chips in question than it's no doubt the chips. Also make sure they are orientated the correct way. Good luck

    Ive had issues with all the d0 pads on every aladin ive tried. If it wasnt grounded to mobo it just frags. just my experience.

    I severed lframe on my 1.6 and reconnected it with a little switch that I can flip with a pen through the side vent holes. I'll literally never, ever boot retail but whatever. I made the switch because I was bored one night lol. I don't need lframe connected.
