  1. Will you be selling these? I could use one
  2. Geez, I should’ve waited myself. I still don’t even have shipping info on the one I ordered. Thinking of asking for a refund before it gets shipped out. You guys have talked me out of it
  3. Thank you for the kind words. Glad you’re finally getting to enjoy it.
  4. Probably not. Just try to keep off topic stuff in the Rumble Pit section. I was simply suggesting that you might get more input and appreciation from some other homebrew developers, in the proper forums. You’re still more than welcome to post stuff, it’s just not that type of scene here as you can tell from limited feedback.
  5. Well technically it’s a home brew that runs on the Xbox One and not an Xbox game. And second, this is an Original Xbox forum. I noticed you said this was development for series S/X. There are forums for those consoles as well and you may get more feedback.
  6. Nice. Now I can use this $20 credit to CastleMania, that I’ve had forever. Really hoping for a clear version and that these don’t have as many flaws as the N64 versions.
  7. Would this not be better suited in an Xbox One S/X forum?
  8. Looks like a removed mod chip along with a damaged component, but also tsop points have been connected.
  9. You could try removing the yellow cable from the disc drive and then booting. Iirc, that would throw an error 12 which also unlocks the HDD and gives you more than 3-5 seconds for the hot-swap. Let me do some checking and see if that is all correct info first. Hopefully someone else can back me up on that in the meantime.
  10. If that picture is of your actual chip and wiring, then it appears you already have the ground and D0 coming off the same plug as your lpc wires. The black wire with the screw hole attached and the yellow wire coming off of it. You are able to install using a pin header; but then I believe you will need the wire you think you’re missing, since the lpc wiring will no longer be used. Edit: it also looks like those two wires are only attached to the connector and still seem to function separately from the lpc wiring. Maybe it could break away? Also, you can easily replace the dip switch for a couple bucks.
  11. I’m not sure if it’s a bios specific thing or not, but I do know it works just fine on Cerbios. There’s nothing to scared of. Try it out
  12. Thanks for the feedback @TheGatekeeper24 @Zerg @toobladink On that note, I currently have (7)x80GB, (1)x100GB, & (1)x120GB IDE HDD starter consoles available. Easy start to get you going until you want to upgrade to bigger and better things. No 80 wire cable or SATA adapter required. Also still have SATA drives, ranging from 80GB-4TB if you prefer to dive in head first. Prices vary with preferred setup. DM if interested. Oh and this guy is available as well. LEDs are Blue and Green, not the teal and purple that the camera captured. I’ll take more pics if interested.
  13. And you’re using the m8 bios that came on the Aladdin?
  14. IGR can be affected by what type of adapter you’re using for the larger HDD.
  15. Unless the clamp itself has snapped, you should be able to clamp it back to the ide cable.
  16. I believe 10. & 1.1 revisions are the only two that support a 1MB bios.
  17. This was posted nearly six months ago so I’m pretty sure it’s been tested. Please be aware of that when reposting to avoid reviving very old and dead posts.
  18. This just isn’t correct
  19. If this is a missing bios issue, then there isnt any need to completely rebuild the hdd. However, if by chance the user does have an extra hdd available, then they could possiby make a dummy hdd in order to have the preferred bios.bin files available. That would allow the initial flash take place and then they could swap back to the OG hdd. But Kaos's suggestion to flash remotely from a computer is one of the first things to try.
  20. If using Cerbios, you can put everything on F: and not even bother creating a G:
  21. How did you set up the HDD for the Xbox?
  22. I was referring to the “HDD Ready” converted game files that are the most commonly used backups. You can use full redump files on Cerbios or convert those into .CCI format using a program called Repackinator. Cerbios was made to improve upon every game running without flaw and the redump files are the best way to achieve that goal. The redump files are very large files and will consume space very quickly. That is where the benefit of .CCI comes in. These are compressed and scrubbed conversions, making them nearly 1/3 the normal size while retaining 100% compatibility. My best guess would DVD Decrypter. I know that’s a program that can extract .iso files into separate audio and video folders.
  23. I bought this one off eBay for less than $5 shipped years ago when I ran into a console repair with a similar issue. It worked perfectly while using the Xbox to power the drive. Were you attempting a HDD upgrade or are you trying to recover the stock HDD?
  24. Where are you located? I probably have an extra one you can have for free, if you cover shipping. Not sure how much that would be though.
