An XBox 1.6 dosn't has a TSOP. How ever, both are 256kb bios files. Problem, you has flashed an XBox 1.2 - 1.5 bios to to your Aladdin. You could recorver the SST if you have a flasher or a second XBox which also has an Aladdin. Then you could perform a hotflash and put an 1.6 bios on the SST even you hotflash it on an 1.2 (for example). After the hotflash remove the SST without tuning on the XBox an put it back in yur 1.6. Problem solved. Next time, ASK if you are unsure! And some other point. I'm pretty sure you used my DVD. There are "Information" links everywhere. Why don't you read them?

All these lines slow down the main boot process. And to prevent that we end up like HeXEn, I decided make a own config for both Winbond/Sharp and launch it as a different "app". So all users benefit from that little change. We all get slightly faster loading times and Winbond/Sharp users get also more bioses to choose from. And be honest, even you have a Winbond/Sharp you didn't flash the TSOP each time you boot this DVD. So we have a nice Win²/Win here. I realy like how that turned out. But see you self. I'am sure. If this little fan would run at 6v it would not move any air at all. But grab a meter and check you're self.

There are 7 SNES emulators on the DVD so which one you mean (They have numbers to make things easyer) In case it's it's " 6.2.4.13. ZsnexBox v3.7" (which eightbit has already reportet above your post) that will be fixed in the next build. If you want to install it, boot you dashboard and put the DVD in your drive. Then search the emulator folder for it and copy the file to your PC, extract it and FTP it back to your XBox to the "EmuS" folder.

Hmmm.... I will think about an option for a basic bios which can be flashed straid from the DVD to prevent this (Basicly the option is already there, you just need to start Resctooxbut i need to put the right bios in place for that job). I think an EvoX m8+ mutli bios would be nice for that. I will put that on the to do list. About the rest, you make me blush (Can i say that as a man? Sounds stupid dosn't it?) How ever, you get the point. Like I already wrote, I try to lissen to ppl. and try do to what they want or to add what they need or wish for and what I think is useful or at least a nice to have. The fans are both 12v. The tiny GPU runs always at 12v. The CPU Fan is controlled and the speed is variable. And all fans are the same (12v). I have seen 4 different types of them but again, all are 12v.

It's done. I have removed raincoat and replaced it with Resctoox for both, Sharp and Winbond TSOP's. Now you can flash bot Winbond and Sharp TSOP's right away from the UnleashX installer with a decent amount of bios files you can choose of (If someone is still missing a bios, let me now and I will add it). And btw. if you like to change the bios of your Winbond (or Sharp) again you can do that now from your dashboard, after the first flash from DVD. You just have to place your bios in "C:\Bios\" and launch Resctoox from E:\Apps\Resctoox. Or if you already have a bios in "C:\Bios\" but no Resctoox installed, you can launch it from the installer (Launch pure Resctoox) and you can flash your bios also right a way. NO offence but the tut is pretty straightforward. And if thats already to complicated, you will fail with the debug anyway. Not to mention that a debug dosen't have any use if you are not a coder in which case you could set the debug up you self. Again, no offence. If your Chip shows up as "protectet" in the installer it's because of UnleashX (Quote from the UX manual : "ChipID" - The type of chip being used, i.e. SST 49LF020. if unknown, it defaults to "Protected BIOS"). I have the same on some of my TSOP'ed XBoxes not a big deal. Basicly UX didn't now that bios and thats why it shows "up Protected" About the flash, you have used the option " 2.2.1. Flash Winbond TSOP. "? I will do check that today to see were I have messed that up ( I have one Winbond XBox here to test that so i think we get that fixed asap). Thanks for reporting this bug at all. About HeXEn... I used HeXEn as well but I missed options and some other things. I have tried to talk to Heimdall to make HeXEn better but sadly he simply refuses to talk to me so thats why this disc exists at all. And I have to admit that HeXEn isn't that bad at all. You could say the same about this disc. Bugs will happen and when ppl report them, they will be fixed. Problem is here, most ppl prefere to flame in other boards about bugs instead of reporting them to get fixed. I guess all of us Heimdall, Slayer and all the guys who made installer have to deal with that. You see, we are on version 1.0.3 and I work on 1.0.4. (My private build is 1.10.0) So I do a lot of work without a release for just a minor bug fix. And OFC it isn't great to do much releases in a sort time but if it's needed, it should be done. It sucks but whats the price for a DVD 20 cent`s? Not to bad I think (And i already have burned ~50 DVDs just for test builds). And each time there was something i don't like or just a stupid typo happend (Like most of oyu know, english isn't my fist language but at least I try to give my best). So if the users work with me (and with all others who made disc like this) instead of working against me (us), we can do something nice. That said, I will see that I get that bug fixed today so that it will be fixed in the next build (1.0.4). For all non Winbond users the 1.0.3 should be ok for now (ST and all other (no Sharp) TSOP's can be flashed with the EvoX). And again thanks for reporting and the flowers as well. EDIT : Stupid question... You have choosen your bios (EvoX prepares the bios and copied it) and after that you go are gone back to the EvoX main menu (which would be right) and hit " Flash Bios NOW! " ? EDIT 2 : Found the mistake I made. And it's fixed.

Yes you can use a 500gb drive. Put it in your XBox and boot up the DVD. Launch XBPartitioner from the Live Apps menu "1.6.8. Launch XB Partitioner" and format your drive. After that, reboot. Now choose " 3.1. Setup a new large HDD. " Format the drive again (Needed because of a XBP bug). The XBox will reboot again when done. Now choose "3.2. Setup Basic User Folders.". Now your are done and can install other apps, dashboards or emulators you like.

That was me (I have made the OGXBox installer) and if you read the hole topic you get the point why I wrote that (and because of nin1). You are good with OGXBox installer. Check the "Folder links" for the version 1.0.3 Kaos has linked.

You're right Koas. Rocky5 has described the main differnces in a topic I'm to lazy to search for right now. For chip/tsop users it mainly makes no differences. I can do different things with the PBL version. Some examples what is different so far on the PBL version: When shutting off the XBox, the DVD tray opens and give you the chance to remove the DVD and in the same moment your cache drives get formatet and then the console shuts down. (That's not possible this way without knowing which bios you use (on some it wouldn't work at all). So i use the PBL version to do so. When you format your drive with XBPartitiononer and quit it, you get back to the Installer instead of getting kicked to the fresh installed dashboard from where you would have to re-load the installer if you want to install other things. Same for all other "live apps" you find on the installer.You would always get kicked out to a dashboard, And ofc like Kaos already has said, if you have a F only bios, I can by pass that with the PBL and format F and G regardless of your bios. You would not see the G drive when you boot your XBox from the HDD with your F only bios. But if you would boot again from the DVD it would be still there. And softmodder could use the PBL in case they have problems with there system booting up (They see things which they normaly don't see). But here I would recommend, like always, Rocky5 softmodding tool to such things. So you see not much of a difference at all and if, it's just a "nice to have" gimmick for the most part. How ever, since I have 4 versions right now, 2 public and 2 privat builds, I guess that I will drop 2 versions in the long run. That said, I will probably drop the non PBL version at some point (bug fixes only if needed then) and marge the 2 privat builds so that only 2 are left to maintain. But a lot of it also depends on how much frinds OGXBox installer can find. For now the feedback I got is pretty good but, I would say it's way to early to tell so, let's wait and see what happends. It's out of my hand now and depends only on the community I'm listen too. So time will tell i guess. :)

Both do the same and both offer the same content. I personal prefere the PBL version. But it depends on your personal taste.

You can see the temp of your HDD but to my knowlege there isn't any dashboard which can show you the spin up time or health of your HDD (just temp). You could attach it to your PC (if it's unlocked) to check the full smart status of your HDD. All of the EvoX m8 bioses on this disc are noDVD bioses. And Xecuter and iND didn't care about the DVD as well. Which you should use depends on what console version you have and whcih dashboard you plan to use.

Will the SATA adapter fit in there? To me it looks like its to close to the side panel.

(A lot for any purpose). - New iND bioses added. (A lot for any purpose). All of the above bioses are noDVD and F+G versions comes as EEC, CCE, XBMC and X4G edition. Was not fun to edit all the bioses and ini's but, HELL why not right? Because of that I had to splitt up the FlashBios section because of to many versions. But that's quit nice IMO because now each "Bios Team" has his own section and the user can now choose in Unleash between: Flash iND, Flash EvoX, Flash Xecuter, Flash Retail, Flash Other, Flash Supporter. Looks and "feels" nice i think. - I removed all (F) only bios files. They don't have any use now days. - Added some more old Dashboards to play arround with.
