A pdf was planed but never finshed. How ver there are planty of read me files linked in the installer. The basic install isn't to big (~500mb - 600 mb will be used of your E Drive, not to much imo..). All routines install the basic apps and latest dashboards, no matter if you choose C only, C+E only or full install. The first 2 options are more - Repair options (In case you already have games on F/G and like to keep them). If you miss apps, you have to install them manualy. And if you think you don't need the installed dashboards, you can simply delete the folders of the dashboards you don't need (If you like to use X4G for example you could delete the entire " E:\Dash\ " folder (X4G will be installed in the root folder of the E:\ partition). The next version will offer options which dash you like to install and also some apps setups. The new version is almost done ( ~ 85%) but little lazy me needs to get my butt moving. But to my defence, a lot of things have changed recently, new bioses (Cerbios, Titan (and Eaton will release his as well in the not so far futere) and I wait for a xbox tool (which HOPELULY comes?) to set up the HDD by using this installer with the extra space (Not to sure if XBP can handle the extra partitons because I don't have a 2,3,4 or even bigger HDD on hand atm. to test it). So yeah, I guess it will still need some time until v2 will be released. So my adivice, just set up the HDD using the main option " 3.1.2. AiO Setup a new large HDD. ". it didn't make to much of a difference.

You need to burn this iso to a DVD. After that you can boot it and install what you like.

noDVD bioses have the DVD drive check disabled. So you could start your XBox without a DVD. And yes, you can still boot any DVD you like when using this bios.

Because the drive is locked, you can do nothing with it as long as it's locked.

If he has the eeprom key from the other XBox he can unlock the drive using XBHDM. I once I had a HDD that was locked. But there fore it was unlocked and locked again using Config Magic and XBlastOS was able to unlock the drive in a different XBox. But again, not to sure if that works if the drive was never unlocked & relocked. 50/50 is guess. So if he is able to make a DVD which boots up XBlastOS (App), XBlastOS is able to unlock the drive using the known default keys. again 50/50. If XBLast refuse to boot up, he could use an evox to launch xblast. Lot of try and error and you may end up where you startet. (With a still locked drive.)

Most of the time they use pure resin for these adapters (because it's cheap). And there is no need to clean that since it will not do any harm to the pcb. One question though. How many "eaten up" mainboards have you seen which are left with flux on it (XBox, Xbox 360, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, PS3)? My count still say's : 0 How ever if you use any chemical flux, you better clean that. Finaly, I don't see a real problem buying these cheap adapters if you have to watch your money.

He can't format the HDD because it's locked.

I will do a video about it tomorrow (Inlc. flashing a stock 1.0). Looks like in some cases XBlastOS refuses to launch and throw an error 21 (Found that out when flashing a 1.0). Note: Sometimes it's not enough to test in XEMU and on already modded systems (That's a moment you like to kick your self in the butt when you realize that). Dave was so nice and confirmed that on two of his stock 1.0 XBoxes. So now the flasher works but, I still didn't now why I didn't worked in the first place. I need to test some more things out and maybe ask someone for help if, I don't get anywhere. So it would be very helpful when ppl could test this one (no need to flash just launch and play around. Try out to add this to your Cerbios.ini ; speed of xbox fan, value 10 equals 20%, value 50 equals 100% fanSpeed = 10 And brute force? Do you wanna hack Putins Grindr acc? You can unpack the bios with " XBtool_1.0.23a ". It will show up as x2 4981 and you can repack the bios as well. You would need to HEX the "xboxkrnl.img" and repack the bios. How ever, you would need to find the place for the fan value first if the config line above didn't work which I grabbed from the x2 config because both looks pretty similar. But the iND has the same line in it so, give it a try.

Little me has made some changes to the old 8MB flasher and I also have made a 16MB version. I got a 16MB card for cheap so I though, why not (Most of you use a USB stick anyways or a custom XBox360 memory card). The 16MB provides more bios files and different flavors of them. Also interesting for the ones who stick to there stock HDD, you will get Config Magic and Enigma Pal/NTSC Switcher installed by default in the 16MB version. And the UnleashX skin is now "hi-res" in this 16MB version. Mitnichten habe ich mich über dich lustig gemacht. Und wenn du mal durch all meine postings gehts würdest du sehen das ich jemand bin der sehr gerne hilft und dabei dinge macht die sonnst keiner macht aber wenn ich sage das du dein netzwerk flash konfiguriert hast wird das abgeschmettert wenn ich gleich ich mir zu 99% sicher bin das genau da der fehler ist. Weil, das tool ist schuld. Und profillieren brauch ich mich schon mal garnicht. (Einfach nur lächerlich, wirklich) Win7 x64 - IPv4 - Static IP`s (Eigene Netzwerkkarte für Konsolen) PC IP : 192.168.0.1 Subnet : 255.255.255.0 Gateway 192.168.0.100 XBox IP : 192.168.0.100 Subnet : 255.255.255.0 Gateway 192.168.0.1 Evtl blockt auch dein antivirus oder firewall das tool. Wenn du via HTTP ran kommst und via. FTP dann liegt die vermutung nahe das das tool geblockt wird (btw. nochmal, als admin ausführen.)

Geschwätz? Hmmm.... Weist, ich habe dir gezeigt das es NICHT am Tool liegt wie von dir behauptet. Und ich flasher dir den SmartXX noch 100 mal mit dem selben Tool (Run as Admin), der selben Firmware und mit Static IP crosswire lan (Korregt eingerichtet) sowie windows 7. (Wie sich win 10 oder 11 mit dem Tool verhalt kann ich nicht sagen es ist aber zu beachten, das es sich um ein XP tool handelt). Fakt ist, es geht bei mir, es geht bei anderen nur einer meint ich lade "mist" hoch der nicht funktioniert und ich schreibe "mist", weil er es nicht hinbekommt. Und da ich wenig bis garkeine lust habe mich irgenwie "dumm" anmachen zu lassen oder oder oder, steig ich hier aus. Man erlaube mir jedoch abschliessend eine Frage retorischer Natur. Es liegt nicht am Tool, es liegt nicht an der FW, es liegt nicht an Windows 7 (Wenn wir davon ausgehen das du Win 7 Nutzt). Also welche Schlussfolgerung kannst du für dich selbst ziehen? Wie gesagt, die Frage ist rein retorisch. I'm out ....

I did it the way I wrote above with the exact same tool from above. Used a crosslink cable XBox -> PC. You cant use the browser for the FW update. The provided tool is THE firmware update tool. And I did it on Win7 x64 which worked perfect. So I assume, we have a case of PEBCAK.

One thing which would be nice is, if it would be possible to use 128MB ram with Titan. Btw. it would also be nice if Team Cerbios would be able to do that. The ultimate EvoX m8+ with support for : 128MB + 8TB/16TB + HDplus. * Just dreaming *

Here are the pre-patched bioses for XBox 1.0-1.4 and XBox 1.6 : https://1fichier.com/dir/L5ujxA2o (Patch lvl. 1.0.1) UDMA 2 / UDMA 4 / UDMA 5 patched. All as yesDVD and noDVD. All of them boots C:\evoxdash.xbe first. Sadly the IGR didn't work.

There is no need to remove the TSOP flash when chip modding the xbox. How ever, I don't think that the TSOP is the problem. Error 13 is because of missing dashboard files. The stock HDD boot fine as Lexieye wrote. So what I would try is to set up the 1TB HDD on the PC using FatExplorer. And ofc you can keep your files on F and G if you like. At first download this pack : https://1fichier.com/?kinvner9q3c4dy7yiobz Unpack it and launch FatExplorer. Mount C and E and backup your files of these partitons (Just to be on the safe side). After thats done, copy the content of the folders C & E which are included in this pack to the partitons of your HDD. Now grab your XBMC-Emustation backup (which I assume was on E) and copy it back to the E partiton. And because you are using the iND bios edit the ind-bios.cfg and link it to your XBMC-Emustation. Example: DEFAULTXBE=\Device\CdRom0\default.xbe DASH1=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition1\XBMC-Emustation\default.xbe DASH2=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\evoxdash.xbe DASH3=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\xboxdash.xbe Partition1 is the E:\ drive. Partition2 is C:\. The recommended path to install XBMC-Emustation is E:\XBMC-Emustation. The config fallback is C:\evoxdash.xbe which, in case you used the linked files above, should boot up UnleashX. That should not fail but if, it will load the default xboxdash.xbe (Original XBox dashboard.) When all that is done put the HDD back in your XBox and power her up.

It makes use of the known save game exploids for SC, MA, 007 & TH4 and uses XBlastOS to flash any TSOP right away. As base it will load up UnleashX where you can choose the bios you like to flash (See list below). After you have selected the bios UnleashX will unrar all necessary files and copy them to the needed places and after that XBlastOS will start. Also a pretty bare bone UnleashX will be installed in which you boot after the TSOP flash from which you can launch an installer like the OGXBox Installer 2021 to set up your HDD. So no more softmodding before TSOP'ing or using EvoX, Raincoat or Resctoox to flash a TSOP. All bios files and configs are pre-configured to boot up the evoxdash.xbe of the C drive.
