  3. Introduction: All new XeniumICE modchip design inspired by the original Xenium GOLD. Edge connector for easy programming along with a purpose built XeniumPGR. Plenty of connectors to support further addons, RGB and LCD display as for example. Small and compact multilayer PCB design, only a little larger than an Aladdin modchip. The modchips in the above image are the prototypes, final design will have gold immersion (ENIG) finish and are currently in production. Coming soon...

  4. Not sure I have a T8280 and you can lift and re-attach xbox og cpus. I'm saving for a reball setup so I can give this a better shot. I also acquired 1ghz cpus and some 100fsb 1.4ghz tualatins to tinker with. The 1GHZ SL53S should be a straight shot, the Tualatins will need interposer. Gotta figure out how to make them work.

  5. One of my friends came across this on eBay some time ago, not sure who credit for this amazing work. To suit the 1.4Ghz upgraded motherboard? The biggest problem is finding thinner 80mm fans that are of quality, in my opinion. I've been down this road with a couple of people already... You've got me tempted to go down to the local machine shop and get the OG heatsink milled down, LoL...

  6. I have one of these also, and it is VERY handy. I can clone a drive when I need to, which is often., and I can hook up through USB 3.0 and use FATXplorer if I need to modify anything. It's perfect. Not the same unit, but the same basic design.

  7. I used to sell consoles and being able to clone a fully set up drive for each new console saved a butt load of time lol

  9. One important note in the start of this thread. @MadMartigan backed up their Xenium flash image first, which was also named flash.bin, and FTPd that off the console before trying to flash anything. That is a critical step before writing any new flash image to your Xenium modchip. After having their backup, off the xbox in a safe location, they went about trying to flash PrometheOS. This also isn't really a PrometheOS problem. This is a documentation issue sort of. The Xenium Tools app is very self explanatory but you really need to pay attention to the prompts and text on screen to understand what is happening. MadMartigan was just continually writing their original xenium backup over their chip's flash memory.

  11. XeniumICE Programmer: I had a lot of fun working on the python script for the "XeniumPGR". Above is a quick video demonstrating what I've done with it. Firstly, the script takes care of the button and all the LEDs since it was never fully implemented in the "Xenium-Programmer" code. The video starts with the RPi zero powered up with the script running. "Power" LED is now "Standby" LED to show when the script is ready. I start by showing the long press function for rebooting the RPi, to signal this the LED's cycle from left to right. Once the RPi boots up and the script is ready it will signal this by cycling the LEDs from right to left. I demonstrate that the modchip will only power up when plugged into the programmer in the correct orientation. Short pressing the button can start or stop running the flashing command "./xenium-programmer" The progress LED turns on whenever the flashing command is running. Getting the "passed" and "failed" LEDs to function as intended was difficult. I had to monitor the output of xenium-programmer for "ERROR" and "FAILED". If either of these two strings would appear it would be deemed as a "Fail". However, if the command completed without failing it would be deemed a "Pass"
