when i boot my xbox it blinks 3 times and shuts off , i moved it to my second xbox and it just stays on red ,never turning green . I flipped the switch but i dont remember what it does, but that didnt help either .i hard solder the pins and solder a wire to the d0 on the chip and then tried to plug into the hold but doesnt seem to fit . does anyone have a guide or have any insight what my be wrong ,its been at least 10 years i have actually tired to boot my xbox and im trying to fix it ..i was thinking may i need to re-flash the chip but i dont remember how i even did it the 1st time ..

Remove the chip and chean all the points on the chip and board that are making contact. over the years those points to the main board will have developed bad connections.

Your best to post some pics as well as other problems could have occurred to the Xbox's.

Beige, you mean gold. I've seen blue, white and gold. Post a picture please.

I thought that was white - the Xenium ICE version of the modchip. Oh well, it's a Xenium! :)

You have one of the RGB LED boards too. Nice.

      Hey y’all,
I have softmodded og Xbox for 3 months ago and up untill today snes emulation was fine (nba jam, contra etc..) Today when I was playing contra iii the sound started lagging noticably -also the music and sounds scatter a bit or play twice instead of once. I tried rebooting and removing and replacing the rom. Didn’t work?
Does anyone know what the cause of this problem is? is it fixable?
thank you so much if you’re willing to help.

Hi I recently installed and openxenium modchip chip. It is working flawlessly. I want to do two things with the Xbox. Number one I want it to play the library of Xbox games. Number to I want to make it an emulation box. Here are the problems I'm running into.
      1) when I try to install Rocky 5 XBMC emu station via FTP it locks up with just a few kilobytes left during the transfer. I have tried to build my own version and use the pre-built version.
      2) second thing is I want to replace the dash with a good dash and I'm looking for recommendations.
      3) is there any software that will rebuild a hard drive to bone stock? Or a listing of what would reside on the hard drive in a bone stock as new Manor?

      Thanks in Advance,
      Rob
