Right audio channel not working on my xbox. Not video cables.

So I have a OEM component cable and a 3rd party. They both work but give me one same issue. The right audio channel wont work, so its just my left speaker. Its not my TV bc my PS2 and Wii component works flawlessly. I cleaned the av port with q tip and isopropyl 91. If I use my Chimeric HDMI adapter both speakers work but I think its still playing through the left audio channel only. Im tryna use component so I can avoid buying another hdmi splitter. My xbox is a 1.2 128mb ram openxenium running IND bios recapped not by me.

Try cleaning your AV port on the motherboard with alcohol and a q-tip. Then While the port is still wet, slide the AV cable in and out a few times. Then let them dry and insert. Let us know.

Check in the M$ dash to make sure it's not set to mono as normally mono uses the left output

Alrighty I cleaned my av port with isopropyl 91 and q tip, and took an av cable and gave it the good ol "in and out" action. Unfortunately still right speaker just doesn't wanna work for some reason

I messed with the speaker settings in msdash and no luck. Its only left audio output that works across all my cables.

Please try to check your TV's configuration. At least my LCD overlaps the Dash's settings if it is in auto-mode (both video and sound). Check if your TV isn't changing to mono when the game starts.

Have you closely inspected the AV port? Pins can break off, see if any are shorter than the others or missing altogether.

Alternatively, you could use digital audio from the Xbox if your cable has an optical (Toslink) or coaxial SPDIF connector, the Xbox2HDMI will also output digital audio over HDMI

Since this thread is now active: clean the AV port with alcohol and a q tip. Then flood the port with alcohol and slide the plug in and out of the port a few times. Let them dry and insert the plug and test.
