Look at these 2 points on the board: They will be soldered (if the previous owner didnt remove it) witch means the write protection of the tsop flash is removed and can be flashed with other bios files. This is called a hardmod.
-
Your console is hardmodded. Its running a bios called evox m8. you have a couple options now: option1: Boot an installersdisc like the “cerbios install disc” and install xbmc4gamers from there. I would recommend to flash cerbios too instead of the current m8 bios. Can be done with the same disc. Option 2: Fix the problem manually and try to ftp a new xbmc4gamers installation by booting into an installers disc, if the disc is booted to its menu you will be able to ftp to the hdd of the console. And ftp a new xbmc4gamers to the hdd. And see if that fixes the issue.

yes, all the cerbios features can be found here https://www.xbox-scene.info/forums/topic/337-cerbios-features

In 4 gamers, if you start the game in pal-60 with the white button, the next time you start the game like normal it should start again in pal-60.

The latest cerbios has everything you want. Mind the vga stuff is experimental atm. Please report any bugs in the Xbox-Scene discord or on the Xbox-scene forums

Game Trainers..... Lots of games don't have one....?
Dempsey_86 replied to nikeymikey's topic in Games
And some games have trainers for PAL games and not for NTSC and the other way around too. And they aren't interchangable unfortunately. I wonder if it just is that some games did break with trainers. Therfore they didn't bring them out for all games for all regions.- 12 replies

contact nemesis, maybe he has some in stock, He is also in Aus. You can mail or contact him here.

If he would use another scene bios or stellar than he would have a benefit for the dvd delete kit nemesis sells because of the circuit board that let the console think the dvd drive is still in place. Without it on the other bioses and stellar, the dvd led would be blinking ect. Cerbios is the only bios that does dvd delete the right way
-
He can also leave the dvd drive in the console and just disconnect it.
-
Its super easy. Go to your C drive, open the cerbios.ini, find this line "DriveSetup = " and put it on 2. This way you wont get the little freezings if you go to file explorer inside xbmc4gamers. You also wont get the flashing light on the dvd tray button. ; Drive Setup ; 0 = HDD & DVD, 1 = HDD & No DVD (Legacy Mode), 2 = HDD & No DVD (Modern Mode), 3 = Dual HDD DriveSetup = 2

The 480p patches to fix 480p on 1.6 xbox does work with xiso and cci. They don't change the xbe. This patcher uses loader xbe's (CDI/EVOX/PD1) that run the game xbe so they work with folder/xiso/cci as it’s not touching the game at all, it’s just loading it via a different xbe.

I agree. Xbmc4gamers is more modern and user friendly. Thats also the reason I switched to xbmc4gamers when I had the origins image before I build my own image.

The main reason its a mess is because it was work in progress, the image was not in a state of release but it got leaked. Also from the folders, I remember he is using shortcuts to games to populate the featured window. To have the games there and in the main games window he used the shortcuts.

Modifying Origins Image for Insignia and for Custom Dashboard
Dempsey_86 replied to Bowlsnapper's topic in Official Tutorials
The base of this origins build is good, the only thing that is bad are the used ogxbox games and the artwork for them, I never realy poked with the emulators in the build, by then I was tired of replacing broken ogxbox games that I started all over and build my own image based on 4gamers. So long story short, just replace all games with known good games and you have a nice build. Also forget softmods and build the thing only for hardmods, no reason to softmod these days. -
What version did you use to fix or what was the fix?

same for Belgium/Netherlands, easy to get here

put it online with world wide shipping, there will be someone that want to buy this console. There are always people searching a crystal x3cp.
-
I just checked ebay, The last crystal sold for 910 usd link Also the price of the black x3cp is higher at 700 usd , 735 usd and 900 usd
-
A x3cp in good condition sells for around £600-£680 atm. But paired with the internal N64 freak HDMI mod + 128mb ram and a 2tb drive, I think you can try to ask £800 (if you have time to wait for the right buyer). All these extra mods add value to the system.
-
Lol. I have the exact same config: crystal x3cp paired with n64 freaks internal hdmi on a rev1.4 board. I must say the hdmi is on par with the one kekule from chimeric sells. So good quality. Just curious, what is the price you have in mind for this xbox?

fyi, what lopenator and bowlsnapper said about the d0 on an aladdin is true. If you want to be sure, you can desolder the yellow wire from the chip and solder it to a ground. This way you are sure the console does always boot from the chip. (ground can be one of the screw posts)

never mind, I just looked at a better screen and its just writing on the pcb lol
