  1. What video mode (NTSC or PAL) are you using? If NTSC, which AV cable and resolution(s) are enabled? Are you using a 3rd party or MS OEM controller?
  2. To me, it looks like there's something wrong with the hard drive: 15:47:35 M: 56582144 NOTICE: Mapping drive T to Harddisk0\Partition1\XBMC4Gamers\system\UserData\ 15:47:35 M: 56582144 ERROR: Failed to create symbolic link! (status=0xc0000034) and 15:47:41 M: 56553472 NOTICE: Mapping drive P to Harddisk0\Partition1\XBMC4Gamers\system\UserData\ 15:47:41 M: 56553472 ERROR: Failed to create symbolic link! (status=0xc0000034) 15:47:41 M: 56553472 NOTICE: special://profile/ is mapped to: special://masterprofile/ 15:47:41 M: 56553472 NOTICE: loading special://masterprofile/guisettings.xml 15:47:41 M: 56553472 ERROR: Unable to load special://masterprofile/guisettings.xml, creating new special://masterprofile/guisettings.xml with default values 15:47:41 M: 56508416 ERROR: Unable to save settings to special://masterprofile/guisettings.xml Previous line repeats 1 times. These drive mappings, file access and new file creation of guisettings.xml are failing. Is XBMC4Gamer's your default dashboard? Can you run a different replacement dashboard (e.g., UnleashX) instead of XBMC4Gamers? If so, how much free space is available on the hard drive partition where XBMC4Gamer's is installed?
  3. The number of connections is set in the replacement dashboard. Which BIOS you use should not have any affect. There's no setting in the X2 5035 BIOS that changes the supported number of simultaneous connections. Did you change dashboards after the BIOS change? In FileZilla, set the max number of simultaneous connections to 1 - eliminates any problems with FTPing to the Xbox.
  4. No, you can post as a guest on pastebin.com and copy the link from your browser on the page after you submit the file contents.
  5. What's the remote directory listing look like - the Xbox side of things? Also, download the xbmc.log file, post a copy of it to pastebin.com and add a link to it in a new comment here.
  6. What's it do different after switching the BIOS? What error or errors are you seeing? Do you have FileZilla or your FTP client set to upload only 1 file at a time?
  7. If you used an NKPatcher-based softmod, you can place the XISO format dot iso file and a copy of the NKPatcher drive image utils's attach.xbe app in a subfolder of your Games directory to run them directly as if a disc were loaded in the DVD drive. You have to rename the attach.xbe file to default.xbe and use UnleashX's File Manager/Explorer to Rename the XBE Title - the Rename XBE Title operation shown below - as you want it to be displayed by the replacement dashboard's menu. UnleashX File Manager/Explorer Select the game's/app's default.xbe file. Next, press the controller's White button to open Select Options menu - scroll down or up to Rename XBE Title. Press the controller's (A) button to edit the XBE Title. Use the virtual keyboard that pops up to edit the new title. When finished, move to the virtual keyboard's Done button and press the controller's (A) button to save the changes. XBMC4Gamers or XBMC4Xbox File Manager/Explorer I've not check the file manager/explorer operations available in XBMC4Gamers. I know that XBMC4Xbox has a similar option to UnleashX's to rename the XBE title stored inside the default.xbe file.
  8. Problems with power on/off and eject, more so power such as phantom/ghost power on or off and instant power on when AC is connected, for 1.0-1.5 Xbox revisions are most likely caused by damage to the very thin traces on the bottom side of the motherboard along the front edge that carry the power, eject, red and green LED control signals to/from the front panel to the System Management controller - a PIC processor on the motherboard.
  9. Did you use the XBMC-Emustation's built-in downloader to install the N64 emulator?
  10. There's a link to download it, named testlaunch, on the originalXbox subreddit wiki - https://www.reddit.com/r/originalxbox/wiki/testlaunch Update: There's also a version of it in this web site's download section: (you have to have enough forum posts to be allowed to download it or pay a minimal amount for a yearly subscription for instant access: This file I believe has many filler files in it. Meant to be burned to a DVD-R disc to fill it so the Xbox's DVD drive will recognize it. Update: Just checked, it is only a small XISO (dot iso) file not really the version you need to burn a disc for the Xbox DVD drive to reliably recognize it. The testlaunch version is meant to be installed to the Xbox hard drive. No additional filler files needed. Update 2: There is another version that expands to 2-4GBs, from an archive not much larger than either of these two veresions. I don't recall the exact size - I believe it was on theisozone.com - now offline. I will add a link to it once I track it down.
  11. What happened to your old Xbox? Do you still have it? Depending what's wrong, It can most likely be repaired.
  12. Green - Verde drive's don't work well in the Xbox. At least I stay AWAY from them, they spin down when idle and the Xbox's BIOS/Kernel isn't set up to support a hard drive that spins down to save power.
  13. What ROM's over 4GB's? Where are you downloading it from?
  14. So, 'iso' stands for what? iso xbox motherboards ??? I understand xbox motherboards but not iso's meaning?
  15. If the hard drive is locked with a NULL'd HDDKey, you can't install it in another Xbox without that console also having it's hard drive locked with a NULL'd HDDKey.
  16. Doesn't matter what you do before using the HDD Raw Copy Tool to write the 2TB Origins image to the hard drive. When you do the restoration, the hard drive's contents are all overwritten.
  17. Try to boot a HeXEn 2018 installer disc and go to the administrative menu option and run XBPartitioner v1.3 Take a picture of the main screen and post it. You should also be able to use the UnleashX's file manager/explorer from there to obtain a directory listing of the C, E, F and G drives.
  18. The link to EarthwormJames' 212 game release can be found in another thread here on OGXbox.com
  19. Which BIOS are you booting from your modchip/TSOP?
  20. You can build another drive using Chimp 261812 to clone the booting hard drive to a new slave drive (connected to the DVD drive's IDE cable when prompted to connect it after starting Chimp).
  21. Nice. The link I had was from Floydzabarber too. But, it is no longer working - and a newer one posted at emuxtras.net states, to download the file. The two links I'd found were posted a year or two after the one he posted on YouTube. Weird that they don't work but the older one still does.
  22. There's no difference between the PIC connections and front panel connections. There are slight trace layout differences and some of the parts on the motherboard in slightly different locations in the area of the PIC processor and front panel connector. There are some people that are sticklers. Which will say, "Hey, there are parts next to my front panel connector not in the picture you posted for a 1.0/1.1. I have a 1.x (1.2-1.5) motherboard. What's it look like for my motherboard?" Not that those parts make any difference in making the connections for the power and eject button to the System Management Controller - the PIC processor.
  23. Here's a Tutorial/Guide for Testing the Power and Eject signals to the Xbox's System Management Controller (SMC) a PIC processor or the MS custom Xyclops chip from the now defunct diy.sickmods.net web site. SICKmods _ Xbox1 _ Power Eject Pinouts.pdf Edit: Changed PDF to one with clickable links to WayBack Machine captured content.
