What CoinOPS pack is it? You can browse the game list folder and see if it's in there still. I would guess CoinOPS has lots of folders for each system.
-
I've only scanned games in MAME, not CoinOPS. Scanning shouldn't mess it up, though. Have you found a Filter By button in CoinOPS yet?
-
You may have changed filters for the games list. There should be a button that changes filters.

Is the led still orange after the freeze? Does IGR reset it, LT+RT+Back+Black? Usually when the power board is unresponsive, it's likely trace rot. I'd open it up and take pics.

Looks like Jay has you covered, but I'd recommend using LeonV32's configs with the 212 pack, as he's updated the 212 quite a bit. He has a standalone setup as well as Emustation. I prefer the standalone with the Ocarina HD skin, so I can verify the plug-ins with their matching rom names. He has configs for extra games as well, mods included. The original 212 plus Leon's games puts me at 265 total. I may be missing some, as his older threads were edited, I'm assuming in fear of Nintendo, as they were on a rampage a few years back. Be sure to download the smaller preview videos off the Downloader for better compatibility. I noticed a difference, they're much smoother during playback. https://www.emuxtras.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7615 http://leonv32.infinityfreeapp.com/?i=1

It's been a bit since I've worked on them but I think his artwork script converts poster.png to poster.jpg. Perhaps renaming the ones that don't work will fix them? For the ones that still work, view detailed info about them in Windows and compare, maybe they are too large or the wrong size. You're correct in the file location, they are in _resources. Are you still wanting to use your custom posters? What about synopsis.jpg? Run a Thumbnail Cleaner script in dash as well. And Resources are enabled in the dpad view types? Do the missing posters just display a black thumbnail or a generic empty one?

Does it say Microsoft during boot, or something else? It's possible you're hardmodded and a softmod would cause issues with it. I've had a softmod load the hardmod menu before though, so it's a possibility.

I've never experienced it, but it appears it's a general error, with RAM being suspect. This chart is the only thing I've seen about it. Does it change to Orange/Green with no A/V cable? https://consolemods.org/wiki/Xbox:Error_Codes

I Trim/Scrub/Split them all. The list has color codes to show what must be done. They're either CCI, XISO, or Extracted (hdd ready). White means CCI works, Orange means CCI works but XISO preferred, Green means XISO, and Blue is Extracted. If you're starting with redumps iso's, Repack should have no issues with compatibility, and Insignia should work fine. I use HashTab on W10 to view Sha256 hashes. Hdd Ready means Extracted format, a bunch of files and folders, not xiso/iso/cci. It's been a while since I used Repack, but if you run it as Admin the first time, it generates a Right Click Context menu in Windows. You Extract from here. Also, in the Notes section, some games have minor issues as CCI. I use XISO for those. I once asked if it was recommended to Split or not. I believe the answer I got was yes. You have to split the larger games anyway, so I just keep it enabled. I know nothing about Prom. One thing to note, I learned recently that you don't want to use CCI for System Link sessions. I believe Harcroft mentioned it in the discord recently. Maybe something to do with the files being too compressed between systems, not sure. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/1/d/e/2PACX-1vSewa5ynfmFC6Dg9FeF9nBF511dGgHc6VwtmR5AH3yyba-bqXO2OAvR-_xxPSLk84xCiM8LxntTYzHX/pubhtml?gid=0&single=true

I'm not understanding I guess. You aren't able to mount the partitions after the format?

I've never seen the Override option, I just click Max next to F and it does it.

FatX has multiple formatting options. LBA with Table for normal use, or Cerbios for allowing F to go up to 16TB. Your F is over 1TB, so I assume you chose the Cerbios option, but your cluster is quite large, 128 is all that's needed. If you didn't choose the Cerbios option, that's makes sense, as anything over the 1TB partition can't be seen. If so, reformat F and G using LBA with Table, and set each to 927.78GB, using 64kb clusters. https://www.hazeno.com/HDD-Upgrades/Over-2TB

Your C/E are way too big. The guide you followed said to increase them? Is the drive formatted in Cerbios or lba with table?

Rocky5 issues (persistent softmod, MS dash etc.)
NokSueCow replied to test23523's topic in General Xbox Discussion
There is an option in Xbmc4gamers that allows Video Mode Switching. That may be helpful. I'm not sure if it works with discs or just iso's. I've tested it and it works with games installed to the hdd. It's best to install games to the hdd for better loading times, less chance of stutters, and saves the dvd for backup cd's. -
Repackinator trims and splits redump style iso's, while creating the attach xbe in the process. Heres the official list of games and sizes, hash, etc. Most are only a few GB. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/1/d/e/2PACX-1vSewa5ynfmFC6Dg9FeF9nBF511dGgHc6VwtmR5AH3yyba-bqXO2OAvR-_xxPSLk84xCiM8LxntTYzHX/pubhtml?gid=0&single=true If not using Cerbios or want to stay as XISO, heres that list. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vTsVPLdUJvc0R8oYXbx5xVSEBHW98VH2xM5XkvODvC01Sbcj9b3I2laWD3ZxN-Yklm4qJR2jF4nXuiu/pubhtml?gid=0&single=true I only use the Extracted format for games that have issues with Cerbios, which are listed on the first link. Thousands of files for a single game is just not worth it, when XISO/CCI's can be split to circumvent the FatX file system limitations. I get about 180MB/s in FatXplorer using CCI/XISO, but drops to near zero on the extracted ones.

I would install the original hdd and see if it works. It's odd that you're not experiencing issues normally, as a sata hdd should require an 80 wire ribbon. The first thing I would do is install an 80 wire to rule it out. Maybe the 40 wire is barely enough to run normally, but a dvd delete causes issues. Is the 4TB a Green/Eco drive, or normal?

Have you tried enabling 'force update' in the lower left?

XBoxHDM-2.3-Beta4 can't detect USB device
NokSueCow replied to prtscn's topic in General Xbox Discussion
There's no reason to use this when FatXplorer3Beta exists. You already have the xbox hdd connected to a pc if you're using hdm, and should have the eeprom if you're trying to lock it. Have you tried FatX yet? Just load the eeprom in it and lock it using that. Is it a sata hdd?- 16 replies

What tsop chip is it? You placed Cerbios.bin in C/Bios.
-
If the older bios doesn't fix your video mode switching, like Amethyst suggested, I would start by never using ftp to install games with. Team Resurgent says FatXplorer is the only recommended option. It's aware of the fatx limitations, ftp isnt. Connect the xbox hdd to fatx and compare your games sha256 hash against the official source listed here... https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/1/d/e/2PACX-1vSewa5ynfmFC6Dg9FeF9nBF511dGgHc6VwtmR5AH3yyba-bqXO2OAvR-_xxPSLk84xCiM8LxntTYzHX/pubhtml?gid=0&single=true If the hashes match, you can rule out the game files. Even if the ftp'd files gave a successful hash, I would never trust it in the future.

If the Force Update box at the lower left is enabled and still won't update, then you'll likely have to manually update.

Is the xbmc option to scan xbox games fast enabled. I forget what it's called. I agree with nikey about Xenons emu packs, very good. Just install in F/Emulators and that's it. He sets it up. He has about 11 packs that I know of. Emuxtras.net.

I believe so. Some weren't named the same as its counterpart, so I changed those, and it fixed the gigantic game list.

It's been a few years since I grabbed his set, sounds like he added to it. One thing I remember doing on a few of his Sega CD games was renaming the bin's to match the cue's that didn't match. This removed the hundreds of duplicate names in the game list. But when I did that, the synopsis went away. I just quit messing with it, the game list was what bugged me.
