I managed to patch it to 720p real. I'll share it soon I just need to do some adjustments
-
I found some values 020E0A88 appears to do the same as 02070A88, it only stretch 480p to 720p nothing more, I changed GTA Vice City rendering to 960x540 but the code do nothing to upscaling it to 720p as it do to 640x480, which is odd. 03070B88 = 480p > 720p without stretching the image to Fullscreen , Felipe had found it before 030C0E88 = 1080i works in the same way 720p works in 020A0B88 which is good but I couldn't make GTA Vice City run in 1080i even changing the rendering to 1080i, it restarts the console, lack of ram perhaps, in fact these other codes 030A0A88 / 020A0A88 / 030A0B88 all works as 020A0B88 03070B88 - This one I don't really understand what it does because it works for 720p window mode but internally it doesn't seem to be 480p, in fact it seems to be 1080i or some resolution higher than 1280x720 It seems to me that the last 4 digits correspond to showing in fullscreen or not, and the first 4 to the resolution, by searching hex values 0x01 correspond to 640x480, 0x02 1280x720 and 0x03 1920x1080 which makes sense as 01070788 is 640x480 / 020A0B88 = 1280x720 and 030C0E88 = 1920x1080 I'm very close to understanding, there are other values that also show something but then the entire screen is buggy, either cutting to the side or dividing in half and even the console going into overheating as Felipe had mentioned I answered you on Emuxtras btw, nice tool I'm starting to use it and making some progress. I hope we can find a way to improve it to change also for 1080i and maybe custom resolutions to stretch to 720p / 1080i

It works but you need 128mb

XBox V1.1: F-Variant Memory Chips Incompatible?
SilverRock® replied to Oldnice's topic in Hardware Mods
I couldn't get any F variable chips to work on any xbox that I tried Only M chips works fine for me anytime but not F -
A ram upgrade Xbox allows you to force 720p in a lot games Example
-
I'm having sound issues through hdmi but not through p2 connector Every board I've done has this problem. The sound keep being cutting off for a fraction of second during gameplay
-
You can also patch a lot games to force 720p by hexedit Example

Only for 128mb Xbox (64mb doesn't work at all) Silent Hill 4 720p NTSC [Graphical Glitches].rar

Usually it's just 3 byte location in the beggining of the list that change the game to works at 720p All the others byte's location or doesn't do nothing or breaks the game It's a matter of find the right byte location. It's not difficult at all but it's very time consuming Yes I've more to share soon Also I'm trying to fix the HUD for other ones as I did to Splinter Cell Chaos Theory Scrapland is another one that I fixed the HUD and now is perfect. I'll share it soon

I made a new patch for Splinter Cell Chaos Theory Now the HUD is fixed Only for 128mb Note > Both files must be replaced in the root of the game folder Video = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aK3Q0HW_DQ8&feature=youtu.be Splinter_Cell_Chaos_Theory_720p_-_HUD_Fixed.rar
