  1. Sorry I won't be sharing these models, it's taken hours of work to create them. I will however freely share the case design once finalised.
  2. Well that's almost complete. Now for the dvd rom bracket
  3. In the process of modelling the hdd tray, it's a complicated shape so its taking a while. Still more to do on it
  4. Here is an explode animation
  5. Ive revised the design of the original xbox mini (the one with the tinted acrylic top) to make it wasier to 3d print. It can now be printed in 3 parts which makes it structually stronger and looks much neater. Just about to test print, will update once completed
  6. So my plan is to design an aftermarket original xbox case that keeps all the original components (mainboard with heatsinks, controller ports, dvd rom, psu, hdd, etc) with the possible exception of the rear fan and metal shielding. To achieve this I have been 3d modelling all of the internals to ensure everything fits. I have some ideas on the style I want to go for but have some questions. 1. Should I include a place to mount an lcd/oled? 2. Would you want to keep the xbox jewel? 3. Hdd/lan activity leds? 4. Any other requests Once I have some feedback the most popular features will be integrated. For now here are some of the 3d modelled components (to scale)
  7. There's a new version: UIX Lite v1.0.0b has been pushed to the usual places. This build adds ftp support, currently DHCP (IP is available in System Info) user/pass are xbox. 480p autodetection was cleaned up a bit, and Cerbios drive letters were changed to R and S.
  8. You should ask on cerbios requests on xbox-scene's discord
  9. There's been another update to fix the xmv player xbe. v2.02 repack in the usual places
  10. v2.02 in the usual places I assume
  11. For those interested in udma5 support
  12. Could just be the lighting, could be that one of the cases has been left in direct sunlight and has been bleached by the heat/light.
  13. New version is out with a lot of interesting updates
  14. Another update coming soon apparently
  15. Set up the hdd using fatxplorer, makes life so much easier
  16. Now I can use it as a main bios, I was waiting for IGR
  17. If it's not going to a dashboard anymore then it could be hdd failure or a bad IDE cable. Is there an error message or just it just hang on the bios screen? The downloads section is at the top, it's possible you have a minimum post count to hit before you have access
  18. I have one I can sell you and I'm in the UK. Yours for £25 if you want it?
  19. I guess we'll find out soon
  20. Yes it's a huakko, considering the price it's served me well
  21. I use a Hakko 998d that i've had for 7 years, never let me down and only on my second soldering iron tip from new
  22. Has anyone seen this? After talking to a well known scene member he says its legit. up to 8tb hdd and .iso supported. From xbox scene forums: "This is a new custom bios with all existing and new features implemented by the team. While we may share some similarities that can be found in bioses such as config loading, custom colors etc, our solution will be different compared to all existing solutions. In addition new tools will also be released to take advantage of some of the features we have implemented. With our custom LBA support we now support hdds up to 8TB in storage size.No more 2.2tb limitations and file corruption.***8TB size limit may be expanded upon again in the futureMore info will be made available in due time Everyone loves a little ISO in their life. So why not add it natively into our bios.No more patching Bioses with hacky ASM, Diskutilities, Dashloader or Nkpatcher. With Cerbios just boot your console select your favorite game and enjoy endless hours of fun.Existing attach.xbe compatible.Check out the videos below of two problematic games working flawlessly as ISO and on 128mb hardware using Cerbios.https://emalm.com/?v=WU9GVhttps://emalm.com/?v=RNwC3But why should I use ISOs over HDD dumps?Well with our custom LBA support for HDD up to 8TB there is no excuse about not having enough space.ISOs do not have file length limitation like some HDD rip games do, so no patching or truncating of file names is required. All DRM checks pass as ISO (Harry Potter).More info TBA" Cerbios Alpha V1.zip
