    Noob Hdd Dead

Hi, is it modded, if so is it a hard or soft mod?
  2. copied this from another thread. If it’s not your soldering or the psu it must be down to trace corrosion.
  3. Have checked the voltages from the psu?
  4. I would load them in batches or by letter then run the installer so you can check them as you go.
  5. Do you know if all of your games work as a dodgy .xbe file can make it hang? It will also take quite a while to scan a fully loaded 2tb hdd!
  6. Hi, the picture is pretty confusing as it is taken from below with different numbering, here’s a pic of the lpc from the top of the board and has the conventional numbering. Pin 12, actually pin 2 is ground.
  7. Try clearing your cache folders, how large is your hdd and how many games are you trying to scan?
  8. As hd pointed out for pin 4 in the photo, if you follow the trace the pink circle should be 1 to the right.
  9. The D0 is connected to ground at the moment so if you remove that it shouldn’t frag, is the bt point solderEd correctly on the chip?
  10. When you downloaded the installer it just asks you for a destination folder and you just navigate to e:apps. it then downloads and extracts.
  11. I am using the other version. When I set it up originally I used urldownloader to install the beta version of xbmc4gamers, then I downloaded the installer and set a path to e: apps, it downloaded, extracted and then I went into apps and chose auto.
  12. Which version of the installer are you using? Maybe try deleting the version you have and try the other or try loading manually.
  13. Are you trying to play original or backup disks? Modchip choice if you want something new would be an Aladdin, basic but does the job. If you want a chip that can have multiple or larger bios and can be used with a lcd screen go for a openxenium. 2nd hand modchips are available cost and quality varies.
  14. Make sure you are getting a good connection with the pins. I ended up soldering in a pinheader the 1st time I used it as I was not be getting a good connection. also type out the command line in notepad and then use copy and paste into cmd, saves keep typing it out!
  15. What is the resistance from the pin to the end of the trace, if you can do it safely what voltage are you getting at the end of the trace.
  16. Hi, just from looking at the photo image it does go to the one you have ringed and if it bells out I think that confirms it, unless you have a major short going on.
  17. If you have xISOs backed up on a pc you can rip them to your Xbox’s hdd using qwix. It can also make xISOs from hdd folders. https://www.reddit.com/r/originalxbox/wiki/qwix?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
  18. As long as they are hdd ready rips you should be fine, just put them in a folder called games on f or g.
  19. How are you trying to load to your hdd, are you ripping disks or ftping game files?
  20. Here's a picture for the size comparison but as Dave points out they’re not cheap but you don’t need to trim them.
  21. Hi, ryzee has a work around for this but you would need a tsop with it as you lose the ability to run a custom bios. https://github.com/Ryzee119/AladdinLCD
  22. If you don’t mind spending the extra go for a crystalfontz, you will not need to cut away as much of the metalwork and makes it easier to keep ports 3 & 4. https://www.crystalfontz.com/product/cfah2004ktmijp-lcd-character-module-20x4
  23. shutdown (triggers + black + white) tray eject (triggers + right thumb + dpad up) tray close ( triggers + right thumb + dpad down) power cycle ( triggers + back + x + black) restart current disk (triggers + back + start) posted again as pasteing black on black is a bit tricky to read.
  24. If you use ind-bios you get a few different igr options, borrowed this list from a thread on xbmx4xbox by Rocky5. Shutdown (Triggers + Back + White) Tray Eject (Triggers + Right Thumb + Dpad UP) Tray Close (Triggers + Right Thumb + Dpad DOWN) Power Cycle (Triggers + Back + X + Black) Soft reset to dashboard (Triggers + Back + Black) Restart current disc (Triggers + Back + start)
