  1. My apologies for replying to a 4-year old thread. Would've been nice if you could've neaten the traces instead of making them look crooked, but its a good 1:1 near identical clone nonetheless.
  2. Likely the CPLD is getting hot because its faulty. Its a good idea to swap it out with a donor or new chip, then reflash with the OpenXenium SVF code.
  3. Site doesn't work anymore. Here's an archived link: https://web.archive.org/web/20061024002332/http://www.teamxchanger.com/downloads/XOR-X-Changer(2.2).pdf
  4. Yes. The fabricated PCB will already have this connected, so no wire is required.
  5. The red wire connection was added by me because I accidentally forgot to add pin 29 and 28 to GND. Double check your soldering connections on the LPC header and reflow, then try again.
  6. Did you position the modchip correctly as the diagram shows? (don't worry about the wire, this board was in near-final stages) The chip must be placed below the pin header. Since your console is a 1.6, you should ensure that pin 4 on the LPC isn't connected to anything and that the LPC port has been rebuilt.
  7. You have a fake 49LF020 chip, which frankly does not work with cheapmods. This is why I would recommend you to buy the chips from here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/124518077957
  8. Its insane how simply a crystal Xbox with a decal stuck on-top would be around thousands of dollars.
  9. @bot_1 If you're still online, could you DM me the key for the download? It would be a better idea if you posted the files to Archive; rather than leaving it lost forever.
  10. It's surprising to think how the reception before was quite mixed, when some thought that it wasn't possible to use a cheapmod on a 1.6-revision Xbox. Well, the good news is that you can, thankfully.
  11. Make a new thread about it. This is about WHY Cerbios has 'Hybrid' in its name.
  12. On second thought, its also for Retail and Debug units all-in-one.
  13. Its named 'Hybrid' because it will work on all Xbox revisions from 1.0 - 1.6.
  14. Can't wait for this piece of kit.
  15. Luckily, I've finally managed to do it. All I had to do was flash the X2 5035 BIOS onto my PrometheOS installation, copy my logo onto my E drive, and then it shows. Thanks guys for your help. This thread can now be closed.
  16. Haha, that's awesome. Any idea what the text says underneath?
  17. Most likely your Xbox is fragging. Double-check that you've soldered the pin header correctly.
  18. The cheap PLCC32 DIP adapters have a poor-quality socket, which doesn't latch onto the pins correctly. Normally, I would have to slightly bend the pins on either the chip or the socket to get it to work. Most of the early Aladdin chips often use a 49LF020 chip (not A or B), later ones do have the A or B variants of those chips.
  19. That is a 29-wire Ownmod, uses a similar diagram to the Enigmah and Xtender chips. I highly recommend you swap this out with something more modern and clean, such as an OpenXenium chip.
  20. I'm trying to modify the logo inside of the BIOS, not make an INI config file to locate a custom logo bitmap with the X3 BIOS.
  21. I looked in the leak, and it seems like the logo is using some strange encoding algorithm.
  22. I would like to know if there's any way of extracting and then injecting a custom Microsoft logo into the Xbox BIOS, usually its "xboxkrnl.exe" I may be wrong.
  23. Thank you, this is far more helpful. Here's the updated TOR link if anybody is looking. http://gd6is466quuhsgzbztyv4sjswdhgfii63wf54qsb32v27xmm5dxbtmid.onion/eur.html
