You can't boot from your Jafar Modchip and then flash your TSOP. Once you bootet from the LPC the TSOP is disabled. How ever, to flash your TSOP you could softmod or use a bios flasher which uses the softmod save game exploid. And finaly, DO NOT flash a bios from an old HeXEn/TruHeXEn disk. If you use the 2021 version it should be ok. One more thing, if you go with the softmod, lock your HDD first.

Thats impossible. You would need to cut off the cpu head sink to the hight of the old gpu one and even then you need a Thomson or HL drive (Philips drive would not be fit because of thing under it), One thing I'm planig to do is water cooling. I have an old unused cooper dual hdd watercooler here which fits perfect both GPU & CPU and would go under the Philips drive. Comes time, comes mod.

Maybe an XBlast-Lite is an option for you. You can attache an display right to it and it's pretty cheap with 25,- Euro + shipping. And you have XblastOS on one bank and 1 x256kb + 1 x 512kb free. So, since everyone has 3d printers now days (except me) and doing no longer real craftsmanship *LÖL* (Just kidding guys) and little me already thought a long time about doing this mod, I like to show you a work in progress (~75% done). The CPU heatsink fits nice and snug on the GPU (Less movement as on the CPU). Funny story which happend recently.... I bought an XBox (1.6) with X3CE + HL DVD drive + 40 Games + some other useful things. Then I sold the games for 100,-, upgraded another XBox to 128MB ram (let's say 20,- for the rams (+profit on the new 128MB XBox))...... Long storry short : I got paid to get one.

No PDF, No support, No nothing. But at the end that is free.

The OGXBox Installer 2021 offers the most options, apps etc. Slayers 2.7 2021 is just an "untouched" updated version of the original + the extra stuff listet in the first post. To set up a new system I would use OGXBox Installer but it's also good to have a Slayers on hand since it didn't use a BFM bios in this version (Like the original never used one). This can come handy in some situations.

So just in case someone needs it or just want to have it in case someone other needs it, here is everthing (Software, Manuals for the chip and ir mod addon etc.) How ever, there is a little downside. The manuals are in german. How ever, google will do a good job on translating and there are planty of pictures. It's packed as an 4.7GB xiso and not as "small as possible" xiso like the original Slayers is packed. And like you already wrote, the original is ~450MB and this one is basicly 770MB (If it would be packed as "small as possible"). So we can see we have 320MB more which is the added and updated stuff I listed in the first post which you may should read. Over all, not a good start for a first post my frind.

Do you still have that XBox and willing to share how the IR kit is installed (The thing which lies on the MCPX)?

I quickly loaded both to check (Mega&1ficher) and both are working using 7zip and the latest WinRAR.

The full pack is still online but set to private because some user reportet problems with some of the files. That's why there is a temp pack till new patches come out an I can update the full pack. Till then you have to patch the bios your self which isn't to hard to do.

I love to stack money but who not. I will give that a try. Pin 32 is output enable. Will try that and report backhow I ended up.

Soldering isn't the problem. And yeah I know about TSOP splitting. How ever, I have some spare 256kb TSOP's here that's way I thought about that option which costs me nothing. And it would be also fun to do it if it would work.

The title basicly already say's it all. I wonder if it would be possible to piggy back a second TSOP to the one of the MB (Except for Vcc and Enable). Then lift the Vcc pins (TSOP 1 & 2) and Enable pins (TSOP 1 &2) which then goes to the switch. So..... I don't now why it works for some ppl. but didn't work for others. I manly used the EvoX Titan 128MB UMDA4 for the last 5 XBoxes I have made and no problem so far. So I can just assume that it's maybe the MakeMHz HD+/HDMI patch which causes problems even it works for some ppl.. How ever, I decided to take down the download for now. I will temporary reupload a smaller pack which just conatins the non MakeMHz HD+/HDMI bioses.

After a little private copy party (Some remeber the good old Amiga days?) to free up my 4TB HDD, I have testet all of the TITAN (U2/U4/U5) + 128MB bioses my self an all of them wörking fine. I used a Startech (U2/U4/U5) and one of the usual cheap adapters (U2/U4) to test the bioses. For the MakeMHz bios I only can tell that Donnie-Burger reportet they wörk and he provided a proof of it. And nikeymikey also didn't report any problems. But because of the leak of an MakeMHz HDMI mod of any kind, I can't test that my self. I also tested a different patch order. I used the 128MB patch first and after that the TITAN which turned out not wörking. I got stuck on the X Logo. Bottom line is, that all of the bios files are wörking as far I can tell. And btw a little update. v1.1.0 is now online with VGA patched bioses. So the pack now contains 172 Bios files.

Format your HDD with FatXplorer (No pre-load like written in the PDF) After that copy the content of the C folder to your C partition and do the same with E. Close FatXplorer and disconnect the HDD. Hook up your HDD to your XBox and have fun. And no, you don't need XBoxHDM. But you could also use XBoxHDM instead of FatXplorer but thats a slightly different topic.
