The fact this forum exists makes me very happy lol

If you were to have asked me what my opinion was on the og Xbox 2+ years ago I'd have said a pile of shite. Needless to say I've done a total 180 and now it's one of my favourite systems, top 3 easily.

I've been soldering and tinkering with stuff since childhood, it's a life long passion. Then started collecting retro games in the early 2010s and it didn't take long for my love of electronics and video games to collide and before I knew it I was mod chipping stuff and doing repair projects.

I used to regularly sell refurbished and chipped PS2s for quite a few years. But due a mixture of burn out and Ebay telling me off for "piracy" I had to stop and it killed my motivation for the better part of 2 years :<

Then early last year after years of dismissing it as "shit" I gave the original Xbox another go (originally buying one in 2012 and hating it). I ended up really enjoying it for it's games, revived online and most importantly the hardware and mods. Of course as always the first thing I did was learn the hardware and it's many faults and I've been really caught up with fixing up these systems. It's so fun and rewarding.

That's pretty much it. You'll probably find me in the "repair" threads a lot.
