I used chimp program, to unlock a hard drive , but when I try to lock it back up . The hard drive doesn't lock and i get error message. Is there a better way and how . thanks

What are the steps on getting it to connect. Any simple tutorials I could read? what are the programs i need? thanks

Hello, I have two xboxes, version 1.2 and 1.4 in both of them after the start Frag. They do not have a tsop. In one there was a chip for a spider web with cromwell, I soldered the chip and the console got Frag. In the second one, however, it worked but after replacing the past, it stopped competing. I tried to run both aladdin but it does not help, any ideas ?

I had a copy of the collection of 97 emulators for the xbox from isozone, but my machine died and now isozone is gone:( Am I completely screwed or is there another place to get them again anywhere?

After a Tsop and 1tb HD install - I had Ninja Massive, a few Xbox games and Emulators working fine. This morning I go to power it on, everything looks fine but it will not Boot any of the above mentioned. Loads for a few minutes and returns me to UnleashX Dash. I cleared the cache and don't know what else it could be. Any tips or help with this is greatly appreciated ;(

xbox boots 3 times no image or audio i found this xbox the way it is i think its missing a cable to activate the chip ! maybe someone knows where i can buy the cable if not its up for sale shipping outside europe is expensive has 120gb hdd

I have an unmodded Xbox and would like to know if the following information I have learnt is correct if modding an Xbox. To softmod an Xbox you can use the Pal version of Splinter Cell Classic edition, Also you can buy an Xbox softmod kit (2018) - A usb/memory card pre-loaded with the files needed to softmod an Xbox which includes Splinter Cell. You plug it into your Xbox and install the softmod by following the instructions. Also I have 2 questions I would like to ask. 1st - Do you need to delete your game saves on your hard drive before you do this or can you leave them on the hard drive as I would prefer not to delete my saves on the hard drive. 2nd question - If you then change your hard drive to a bigger one after you softmoded your Xbox to a 2TB hard drive, is this easy to do, or dangerous to your Xbox, and how much does a 2TB hard drive cost (in pounds or euros if poss). If you need to know what Xbox I have it will be the 1st Xbox as it came with a Thompson DVD drive (but got changed to Samsung by Microsoft after it became faulty-just for info). How would you go about replacing a hdd in a dead xbox? mod chips? I've been looking for a tutorial but I can't find anything. Also, everything on the xbox seems to work, so but the hdd is just freaking out with sound, so I assume its the hdd 1.0 btw.

Is there a place where I can get an upgrade for my old xbox? I was looking for one those freidmtech dream series, but to my bad luck their website is Offline? is there any possibility to get and upgrade console somwhere else? ebay doesn’t have any. Thanks for any possible replys.

Hello everyone! I recently picked up a box with Xkiller Xecuter 2 and while trying to make a USB cord for it, I somehow fried the circuitry for port 2. I had another box for spare parts and tried swapping the headers, no luck. My real questions are A: Do they make controller hubs (like a 2 or 4 way splitter) that I can just plug into port 1 so that I can still have a 2nd controller detected? I've searched everywhere and couldn't find one and if not B: Can I just splice the wires (on the internal plug) that go to port 2 on to the wires for port 1 and still have it see the second controller when plugged? I'm thinking so since it is just a USB interface... But I would love some input before I try.

i have a used xbox that i bought just recently paid 10 dollars was softmodded with soft mod deluxe v3 and have a code 21 the sticker that says the year has been wiped clean and i cant make out anything on it if anyone can help i would appreciate it is their any way to put it back to original the xbox and the softmod it then tsop flash it back to the original xbox software

Hey lads, I'm having a bit of an issue here. Recently softmodded my xbox and cloned a 2TB Hard Drive over. It has been working fine, I Ftp'd over some stuff and they run fine on the drive. So here's the problem. When I started my xbox today, my DVD Drive was working fine. Albeit I didn't stress test my Hitachi-LG, it immediately booted MechAssault which was in the tray. I've always had a sticky disk tray issue, so I keep a disk in tray so it will open. I Ftp'd over my stuff, moved to the new dashboard. The game also booted fine there. Then I booted DVD2Xbox, and this is where everything stopped working. I tried to rip the game and it failed, about 5 files in, said it had failed to copy over 100 files. I tried to see if maybe the App was just acting up. So I went back to my dashboard and tried to boot MechAssault. It went to a black screen, and then rebooted the dashboard. So... I kept going. I went back to Rocky's softmod dashboard, and when the disc tray initialized, it read MechAssault as the title in the softmod. Hit "Launch Disc", and... no dice, it boots back to the dashboard. A friend suggested maybe clearing the cache, so I did. After clearing the cache, I got the game to load, but first it went to a red patchy screen, and loaded 15 seconds after. I played a round of Grinder, but when I quit grinder... black screen, went back to dashboard. I can't stress this enough, it only stopped working the moment I ran DVD2Xbox. My fear is that I'll probably need to clean the laser, and if it doesn't work, it may mean I need to get a new drive. I couldn't unplug its power cable when I was softmodding [I was desperately careful], so I put it carefully on the table, It flopped over once, and I'm afraid that may be what has killed the drive. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

Hello all, I recently went to the Midwest Gaming Classic in Milwaukee (about ten years in a row now) and FINALLY scooped up an original Xbox with a few games. I quickly upgraded the HDD and here I am with it softmodded and looking at all it can do. I am most interesting in some cool case/appearance based mods too if anyone has suggestions. The case is not perfect, and I really wouldn't even mind just a clean OEM shell...

Hi, I've managed to swap out the 200GB hard drive on an old Xecuter3 modded Xbox and I've got it to boot to UnleashX, but I'm not sure about the formatting of F: and G. I've tried both setting it to around 927GB for each partition and also tried F 120GB G 1734GB but I seem to remember there are some issues with hard drive sizes and partitions. How should I be setting it up to avoid any data loss as I load up games and apps? Thanks for any help.

I believe my Xbox is a 1.6 - it has the Xcalibur chip. Correct? I purchased a new power cable for the unit. It still does not power up. I ripped it apart and it looks like there is a short on the power supply board. Does anyone know where I can find one for sale for the 1.6? or how to fix this? Picture below. Hopefully the pictures are clear. What else could the issue be??? Your help is appreciated! I am planning to update and revisit this project from 10 years ago.
