I've seen several UnleashX skins show the game picture/icon next to the name of the game. But they don't show up with any of the games i've put on the hdd. Am I missing something in the game folder itself or a setting I need to modify in UnleashX? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi. Old geezer here just getting into this stuff. I was given an old xbox with a copy of The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. and I just ignored it for five years. I recently stumbled across all this stuff about soft modding and TSOP so here I am, with a TSOP flashed and softmodded 1.4 XBOX with a 500GB hard drive and a handful of games.

I had a copy of the collection of 97 emulators for the xbox from isozone, but my machine died and now isozone is gone:( Am I completely screwed or is there another place to get them again anywhere?

Just decided i should get on the forums since i am gathering the required materials to tsop a 1.0 og xbox. i have posted on the facebook page a couple of times. i am an old school gamer that got started with system modding back in about 04 unfortunately not on anything xbox related. Been seeing a lot of xbox related mod stuff lately and i am going to be getting into it as a hobby or for personal interests.

Not sure if anyone has had trouble finding xboxes for sale but check out Goodwill auctions online and there a ton of xboxes listed.

I figured that I would introduce myself here! Recently picked up a Halo Edition xbox and got the modding bug again. Back in the day, I was really into creating new maps for the original Halo to play with others on XBconnect (RIP). I bought a couple of softmodded xboxes off eBay last week and started tinkering with them. Wanted something to run emulators and xbox games to go along with my RGH xbox 360. It's been pretty fun so far trying out the different dashboards and skins.

Cool video about xbox development, i wonder what your thoughts are, and has anyone got more of this content to share? I'm curious about what PC ports exist and what may have been possible Just read through RandySlims post here, he has a good list of games... nice to run into 'digthatbox' again... its outside of my oxbox TUNNELVISION so i guess i forgot about it

Anyone know how? It's been 3 years since I did xbox work and I honestly forgot how or even IF you can stick the factory bios back on. I already googled this for an hour.

More curious than want to put into practice but after I load a game from disk onto the Xbox Hard Drive, it might be nice to create an ISO as a backup if the game disk fails. I was thinking some kind of program on a PC connected via the network to the Xbox.

Hey, I'm Nick. Started lurking on the Facebook group about a month ago. Used Xbox-Scene waay back in the day to softmod my original Xbox. It was sold along with alot of my collection when the Xbox 360 came out. I recently picked up my current box for $40 with two controllers and 17 games (mainly sports titles :/) Working on the soft mod now but still have to take it apart because it reads discs poorly and I need to remove the clock capacitor. Fun stuff!

Video tutorial on how to pot tweak the Thomson TGM600 DVD drive found in the Original Xbox. It is recommended to have an ohm meter so you can see your adjustments before powering the drive back up.

I'm trying to go mod a couple xbox's and digging on my hard drives for files and guides I found this little one it, helped me a lot repairing and modding consoles,also I found the ps2 and the gamecube repair guide ....but those belong to other forums.
