Have you tried cleaning it? -
replacing a bad tsop chip on a 1.0 with a tsop from a 1.1
Marty replied to christopolis's topic in TSOP Flashing
Temporarily install a modchip and see if it will boot that. Rule out possible errors. -
You can't flash a bad BIOS to the TSOP if it's not write enabled. Your problem lies elsewhere.

What molex cables?

Finding a donor MCPX and do a hot air removal and reball. Not easy....not cheap and not worth the trouble. You'd be better off just finding another XBOX.
-
It looked like much more than that. No wonder they were so out of spec.
-
Which mod chip are you going with?
-
Yep, found it... https://github.com/Ryzee119/AladdinLCD

Using 360 and PS3 controllers, I'm not noticing any significant lag.

Snapper, you should put together an ogx360. It's a fun project and I think you'd quite enjoy it.

You could inspect every via, trace and solder joint under a microscope.... ...but it would probably be easier to pick up another XBOX and be more careful with your next mod. Sounds like this one is "for parts".

My plan is to use one to drive a display on one of my TSOP consoles.
-
I've already done two....but everything is packed up right now because I'm moving.
-
I suspect someone had a soft-modded console, but wanted to run Insignia....not understanding that you can have both.
-
Don't really care what's on it. It's getting the Aladdin Mod.

So, with a trusted source for J-Runner with Extras, disabling driver signature and running J-Runner As Administrator, you can't get it to open? Try another computer, or run it under a virtual environment like VirtualBox.
-
For you, I'd say it would be relatively easy. Just be neat and follow instructions.
-
Most people who throw the term "open source!" around have probably never read a GPL.

Does Nemesis have his own firmware to distribute with his design? Not being cheeky, it just seems to center around that....if Nemesis releases his own firmware then, yeah....his work was self-contained and not reliant on anyone else's heavy lifting.

I would start by cleaning that board. It's filthy.
