  1. Use file manager on xbmc and see if there is a folder called profile directory? You will not see it with unleashx.
  2. Try creating another profile, log out, then login and see if that loads?
  3. So it did the restart but then just hangs when you try to login?
  4. Read this thread, Rocky5 says to update to the test build. https://www.ogxbox.com/forums/index.php?/topic/633-release-xbox-artwork-installer/page/2/
  5. Did xmbc4gamers restart and say it was updating?
  6. There’s a how to on the conversion here as well. http://adriancallaghan.co.uk/wp-content/downloads/Guides/XBOX_REPAIR_GUIDE.pdf
  7. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174269277552 this is for a 1.2-1.4 but just keep checking regularly or there is a thread on this site on converting the psu adaptor.
  8. eBay for a replacement psu, just checked and £12 seems to be the going rate. Your 100v step down transformer will be fine for the US Xbox. ntsc psu has a voltage range of 100-127v
  9. Here’s how I add a profile. Press + (manage profile), add profile, name (then press done), no thumbnail, then okay, logout out (press right thumb stick), then login in and Xbmc4gamers should restart and update, then login and the 3 dots and it should then be loaded.
  10. Yes, when you try to log back in Xbmc4gamers will restart updating the changes. You then get the dots and your profile should load.
  11. Did you manage to log out when you finished building the profile?
  12. What are you trying to download, you may just have to do it manually?
  13. Checkout Rocky5’s YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/c/JCRocky5 Did you download the prebuilt or build it yourself version? I would remove it and try a clean install, do you have it in the app folder on your E partition?
  14. Reformat the f and g partition, you may have some dodgy sectors but hopefully reformatting will sort it.
  15. Try putting a bios on the other 512 banks or split it and have 2 x 256 on 3 & 4 banks.
  16. Hi, if you want some in-depth info there are a lot of YouTube vids. On the Xbox an .ini file is generally just information on the program, the .xml describes the file structure and features. If you edit the config.xml for unleashx you can add and remove headings, tell it where to find games, emulators and so on, where to find icons and pretty much anything else you want to edit.
  17. Here’s some info on different options for flashing. https://www.reddit.com/r/originalxbox/wiki/bios?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
  18. If you used hexen to mod your hdd it will have loaded unleashx and evox. Open evox , then Xbox admin, system, flash bios and it should show your bios folder.
  19. I think you are over complicating it. Put the bios.bin file in a folder called bios on C or E, make sure it’s a 256KB.bin. Load evox dash, navigate to flash menu, load the bios file and flash the bios.
  20. If you want to make xbmc4gamers your default dash you will need to use xbe shortcut maker to make a replacement evoxdash.xbe to put in the C partition. Use xbe shortcut maker to point to the folder where xbmc4gamers default.xbe is. Then create the .xbe file and replace the original evoxdash.xbe with it. When you boot up the Xbox will then use the xbmc4gamers default.xbe. https://www.reddit.com/r/originalxbox/wiki/xbe_shortcut_maker?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
  21. You don’t have to but it is supposed to help with the lifespan of the Xbox and you also then don’t need to solder the D0.
  22. No, here’s info on the pin layout. You could find out the led voltage and change the resistor and run a wire from one of the 3.3v supplies as they are only powered when the Xbox is on.
  23. Did the Xbox just load to the ms dash with the modchip attached?
  24. When you say third leg do you mean pin 6?
