  1. What is the issue with Dashloader and Insignia? Why the insistence on a softmod? Do you not have a TSOP flashable console?
  2. If you formatted the drive with FatXplorer it should have selected the correct cluster size for your drive automatically. Mine did for my 6tb drive.
  3. That would require hacking of the actual bios file itself.
  4. X3 and X2 can both replace the microsoft logo with a file in the root of C named either x3logo.bmp or x2logo.bmp. The tutorial linked below says it need to be on E but I know my x3logo.bmp is on C and it works so maybe it can be on either. https://www.xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials-251.html
  5. Also for further clarification... https://www.xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials-251.html Here's an excellent use for it too.
  6. Seeing as there seems to be some confusion about x3 in this thread, I can confirm that the X3 bios lets you change the MS logo, it just needs the file on the HDD C root. I currently have a Nike Swoosh on my X3 system
  7. Good info for those who have the original chips. I'm sure the Prometheus devs will get a fix in nice and quick
  8. There's a newer set available at back-ups.me Repackinator shortens the folder names to keep them within FATX spec.
  9. Cant wait for my Xenium Massive kit to arrive.
  10. Yeah I'm sure I had a couple of those free download tickets left when it closed
  11. Basic rule of thumb is to seed back as much as you download. Try to keep your ratio at 1.0 or above. The torrent has been given freeleech so only your upload counts, your ratio is currently infinite. It will stay that way until you download something that isn't freeleech. You have already seeded back more than you took anyway. Login and click on to your username in the top right hand corner. It will tell you your ratio there. If you were a PD user then you should be well aware of how a ratio works, they were one of the strictest sites when it came to it lol
  12. New link for the old 12gb pack... Not the original zips, these have been completely extracted, checked for default.xbes files and rezipped. https://1drv.ms/f/s!AqFpyG7Ugkl6hJRojD-J9b9zan9BgA?e=zpNmEm Confirmed no default.xbe files contained within. Thanks @sweetdarkdestiny for the reminder.
  13. I hope I'm not one... I am also in that topic
  14. If you are talking Xbox games then yes the Artwork Installer from XBMC4Gamers will be your best shot. It also has some art for emulators apps etc but not everything. I have added some of the missing art in my artwork thread.
  15. I wanna know who the 3 stooges are now!!! C'mon don't leave us hanging..... I can guess one from your earlier post, We know you don't like Bowlsnapper all that much......
  16. Hid the link while I check if all those xbe's are gone. Can you let me have a working link to your set please? The link I tried didn't work
  17. You will need that 80wire cable. You need to make sure that the X3 is looking in the right place for the Origins dash. On the original drive it is in a specific location, on the Origins drive it is likely in a different location, the chip/bios needs to know where it is so it can boot it. As I said before check where the dash is located on the origins hdd and point the X3 bios at it. Then it should boot. I have never used the Origins drive so dont know the dash location myself. Here is a link to the manual for the X3 config Live, pay attention to the sections about the dash and make sure that yours is setup to boot the dash from where it is on the Origins drive. https://x3.bustedchain.com/x3configlive.html
  18. No, the X3 bios will support his 2tb drive with no issues. I know becasue i have an X3 with 2tb drive that runs on the X3 bios. The UDMA thing has only come about since Cerbios added it and it honestly isnt that important. As long as OP is using an 80 wire cable along with his ide2sata adaptor then the X3 bios will be enough for the 2tb drive to work.
  19. The chip is fine, I have an X3 and it works as well today as it always did. Update the bios, or, if you have a bios bank switch mounted on the console use that and try one of the other banks, it may have another bios on it already. For the Origins drive to work you might need a bios that supports F and G. Although If you are booting the X3 bios then you "should" be good to go there anyway, the X3 bios will support your 2TB hdd with F and G partitions. One thing you need to check is where the X3 is looking for the dashboard at boot, you can check this on the X3 config screen. You can get to that by holding the "White" button while powering on the console. Look for dashboard path or similar. Make sure the path is pointing to where the dash is installed on the origins drive. Try the dash option first and if you still have issues then try updating the bios. The UDMA stuff is not important unless you are using Cerbios so do worry about that too much. Just make sure you are using an 80 wire IDE cable with your Sata drive and you should be good.
  20. Might be a silly question.... But why don't you just leave the DVD drive out of the system if it works and you can play games on Aurora without it? I haven't used the DVD in my 360 in years.
  21. That's some flamethrower soldering on that cool runner. I would redo all those joints with leaded solder and PLENTY of flux. This will give you much cleaner connections there. Also the connections on the motherboard itself, are they soldered or just held in place with that tape? I would try and get a correct power supply for your model just to be certain that isn't causing an issue.
  22. Use this to access Xbins and grab the latest xblast from there. https://github.com/Team-Resurgent/Pandora
