  1. Depending on the Aladdin… prometheOS can be loaded onto it
  2. Easiest is unlock the drive (if oem)(with picoPromSD… if WD, or prometheOS (either type). Then use picoPromSD to grab eeprom and lock drive with Fatxplorer
  3. Awesome. Glad it worked out for you
  4. Wasn’t insinuating you did. More of… how would someone feel comfortable sell something that looked like that
  5. I would NEVER sell a modchip that looked like that!!!
  6. On black screen… have you tried pulling video cable out and plugging it back in?
  7. That’s why I quoted it. I knew that but some may not understand extruded so left it in lame terms but quoted it since it’s not exactly etched.
  8. They are “etched” into prints
  9. 8 remain (no more will be made by me)
  10. A you try to get a really clear close up picture of the LPC soldering. We may see something.
  11. What temperature do you have your sooldering iron set to? What type of solder?
  12. So the FRAGing (flashing red and green) when d0 is grounded means it is either the soldering (probable) or bad chip. Your soldering after second time looks better… but could still be the issue. I hesitate asking you to keep trying because you could burn up the pads with too much heat. You really need some flux. I wouldn’t recommend trying without flux. Is the hard drive locked? Do you have an EEPROM backup?
  13. Error 16 can be that the Xbox dashboard can’t load to set the clock
  14. And are you sure that the new hdd has stock dashboard correctly moved onto new drive?
  15. Have you tried putting d0 to ground and see if chip boots?
  16. I’d recommend getting some flux and try to get the LPC soldering a lot better
  17. Do you get the error without the mod chip installed? And the LPC soldering needs some work. Not sure it’s making good enough connections on some of the pins
  18. Pictures of everything will help
  19. Nah… that’s chump change!!! https://www.ebay.com/itm/134981254051?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=GXGiHKLYSR-&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=wNf3z91vRd-&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  20. Yep! I have a board someone sent me that I still need to do (been months… sorry). Having a baby has stole so much me time lol
  21. Not that I’m aware of. You could sand one down and scan it… and recreate it inside KiCad
  22. Previous page (scan). I’ve not come across the PCBs
