I’ve bought another OX chip, be interesting on the condition of soldering. Where are the BT and D0 wires allow the chip to turn off and on.

Here’s the video….. it’s a shit old Aladdin, they do work…. You still think I’m ryzee119 or affiliated….. I told him I’m not happy with the chip being soldered, he said he did it because the pin header can corrode.

I’m telling you it does work on the old aladdin’s. i have the video showing everything working.

My guess is that he saw that the OX chip you don't solder it, so decided to ruin the chip. May buy another OX chip and see the quality of work. The BT and D0 wires allow the chip to turn off and on (which I did want). If I do buy another OX chip and pin header, can it be turned off and on?

The modshop has finished with the orig xbox and a little disappointed....he soldered the mod chip to the damn pin header.....what would be a 5sec job if the mod chip was to die now makes it hard to swap. Also mainly OCD but he didn't fold the xbox pata cables the same as before. And on the OX modchip pictured above anyone else think the OX/Ryzee119 text looks like he took flux and hot air to it, because he didn't want to install it. Just doesn't look right compared to all the others you see on eBay.......I didn't check before I sent it away, was in a anti static bag (someone else also gave “console mods au” on eBay bad review on bad soldering too but nothing like above). And come to think of it the 360 unlocked PCB I gave him, he said it was dead on arrival yet was official TX product from http://www.modchipcentral.com

The Aladdin modchip guide on how to wire it up had HDD activity on the sheet. No idea how they did dvd drive.

Yer 256k don’t think the newer 1mb ones otherwise he would flash Prometheus to it.

The modshop has finished my orig Xbox. Has alerted me to this issue with my Samsung drive and startech. Is the working solution change it to a cheap chinese adapter? or should I wait till it gets fixed with cerbios?

The modshop is going with an old aladdin chip which is a shame as I wanted Prometheus.

I didn’t make it myself, bought it ages ago off eBay. Finally got the money together to get my orig and 360 modded at the same time.

Finally sent my Xbox orig away to be Modchipped and the installer won’t install it as it looks horrible, from “console mods au” off eBay the reseller for them for Australia.

Is the noctua fan mod worth it believe it runs quieter but also hotter ???
