A SATA with IDE-to-SATA adapter, Western 1 TB hard drive, 80pin IDE cable. i have used sweetdarkdestiny advice but noticed the Not For Soft Mod file so i only fixed the bios_config file

I swapped the HD for the original and it booted. I then swapped it back and we are ok to go there is no stock MS dash? In the C:// drive in folder Do Not Touch it is empty? I tried to add the folder 5960 and Filza said it already existed with 100’s of errors. (Parts of the files are still in there) i ftp the 5960 folder to the F:// drive and when I tried to run xboxdash xbe it rebooted to ERROR 21 rebooting brought me back to XBMC-EMUSTATION so I’m back at situation 1# black bios straight into dash white bios error 13 The original problem is because I selected mod-chip in options situation 2# Will installing Aladdin XT break my soft mod setup? please help

I am watching tutorials on installing an Aladdin XT mod chip i can’t find any confirmation in my search about keeping the data on the hard drive after I install the mod chip will this wipe my dash as I have 1TB SATA with hundreds of games on it

When I originally soft modded the XBOX i loaded it with indi bios and TSOP it with a liquid wire glue trace as me being very short sighted and shaky handed DIDNT’ want to destroy the board soldering. for a long time at first boot it would go to just black screen with the words IND BIOS then to XBMC-EMUSTATION all of a sudden NOW I have the original flubber that goes white and then error 13. I can get over this by holding eject button at boot which then goes straight to the dash what am I doing wrong model V1.2/ v1.3. Made in China, 2003, week:36 line:5.

I have a soft mod rocky5 XBMC-EMUSTATION. I have enabled an intro video but with the default media player set to DVD I get a black screen with good sound on the invisible video. with the default media player set to MPlayer I get a grey screen with choppy sound quality for the intro video. is there a certain specific aspect or file type for the intro.mp4? please help

Hello fellow Xbox enthusiasts with PSX games I can’t add them to my favourites list if they are multi CD? the game always errors with CHECK CUE FILE I have learnt many things in my journey in XBoX emulation but I think I’ve stumbled across a bug SO PCSX4Xbox can only play multi cd games if you make the CUE file read game-track (1).bin game-track (2).bin witch is cool i go to PSX in my XBMC-EMUSTATION menu and select the multi game and it plays fine. WHEN I add the game to my favourites list again when I select it I get ERROR CHECK CUE FILE. this is a Rocky5 modded XBoX, so I’m guessing that’s the fault. I have EmulationStation on my Raspberry_Pi but that can read ISO’s and EBOOTs. is there something similar I can do on XBoX to make it read one single file like an ISO or EBOOT?

From the video it looks like he uses the Xbox to unlock the hard drive. I think this isn’t the best idea. Hot-Swapping has the potential to damage and make the hard drive unstable (without a backup) your F*Kd. if you really want to try this tutorial and not buy a £5 splinter cell game I would first try doing it faster. (Sometimes unplugging the hard drive too long fails the experience) 8 seconds max i personally had no END of trouble using XPloer360. I used a Linux OS with XPloer360 and had to repeatedly unplug and insert the USB to get it to register. Is this an XBMC / KODI /clone or just a torrent player? it’s a shame so many forks like STREMIO are not supported by Linux. the XBOX has got terrible bit-rate for downloading! Like I have 100gig/sec and I only get 5 meg at a push

Hello all i have added a blue LED strip to my OG Soft Mod. is there somewhere I can JUST buy the Hard Drive tray and DVD tray in the clear plastic? The LED will only fit flat in the bottom of the Xbox on top of the mother board. I have taken the backs off the controller ports so the light shines through. but a lot of the LED light is lost inside the body and there are “hot-spots” of light instead of a nice glow any links will be much appreciated thanks

Ok so I fixed the games not showing up in the Menue List because it’s still reading roms_list from C:// not F:// but it gets stuck frozen when trying .cdi or the .bin I converted do I need to just download the extension .jag ?

Greetings all i have ripped some Jaguar games to my PC and they don’t show in Virtual JaguarX . I did some research and downloaded some free games that came in a .jag format and these games show in Virtual JaguarX and play fine. My games I ripped are a .cdi format. I am trying different ISO programmes to convert .cdi to .jag format. am I barking up the wrong tree? any help will be greatly appreciated thanks

I have noticed this also There was no problem with the 500 gig upgraded HD, but when I upgraded to 1TB I noticed serious lag when a game was graphics demanding. i originally had a cheap 80pin ide cable that corrupted my data. I swapped that for a recommended good make. I think it’s just the ‘write-speed’ of the HD and I should of spent the extra and got an expensive SATTA

Are the games in question XBOX games or emulator games? IF IT WORKS ON THE OTHER XBOX ITS PROBABLY NOT THE GAME I downloaded an Xbox game and someone added multiple extra files for the different languages. so I had to take the files for my language and put them in there required folders. This was quite funny as I originally forgot some of the frame files and the characters didn’t bend lol EMULATORS its normally the emulator or the actual extension type of that ROM that is the problem. (I.E) PlayStation likes the old frame skip and filter Not The One that is default and can’t play ISO or EBOOT format like other emulators can. personally I would NOTE down the setup of the other Xboxes and copy it like for like double checking the region video type. Trying different filters and frame-skip options with Emulators

good afternoon all i upgraded my hard drive and want to use the old one for something totally different. is there a way to reset the HD and totally factory format the drive to FAT32? i unlocked the drive using the XBOX and plugged it into my pc. Using Disks i used the NULL KEY as a password to access it but i still don't have permission to write to or format the 500gig WESTERN-DIGITAL. so am i just stuck with an old backup of the XFAT IDE? please help

it took me a time to work it out that XBOX doesn't understand multiple Track.bin files or EBOOTS only bin and cue. you can still use multiple tacks for the same game by just delteting the word TRACK from the cue file this is my cue file for South Park FILE "South Park - Chef's Luv Shack (USA)1.bin" BINARY TRACK 01 MODE2/2352 INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "South Park - Chef's Luv Shack (USA)2.bin" BINARY TRACK 02 AUDIO INDEX 00 00:00:00 INDEX 01 00:02:00 FILE "South Park - Chef's Luv Shack (USA)3.bin" BINARY TRACK 03 AUDIO INDEX 00 00:00:00 INDEX 01 00:02:00 so just delete the word track..... change (USA)track 1.bin" to (USA)1.bin" in the CUE file and the name on the bin BINARY file i am very intrested in Backmeups but cant find it

This is the only info I could find on how to set up lair Lair should have 3 files in the Mpeg\lair folder lair24.dat lair24.m2v lair24.ogg You also need the ROMs for each game - roms\lair has 3 or 4 depending upon the version used. There's also a framefile\lair.txt file .\mpeg\lair 151 lair24.m2v I don’t have a rom perse but do have the bins? If that’s the same ?

I think I’m doing everything right? But I get Could not open frame file! Please read the daphne_log.txt for more information. (I can’t find location of daphne_log.txt?) There are many tutorials online but they don’t work with DaphneX please help

Daphne is a laser disk emulator. The games are broken into 3 parts for each game because the emulator can only play the games in the Emulators menu. here is the ETA_PRIME tutorial for Daphne ps (this method no longer works because the Downloader is broken)

Hello all please bare with me as I am a total newb to Daphne. I installed DaphneX on XBMC-EMUSTATION and am having trouble getting the games to work. I have been given a pack of daphne games but don’t understand how where to put them? I have been ratteling my brain trying to find a tutorial but there all for LaunchBox and don’t apply or don’t correspond to the Xbox file system please can you help

Hello i purchased a 1TB SATA and used the original 8gig to start over. it was all going sweet till I moved the settings pointer for ROM’s & Emulators to F:// then the same thing happens? so basically if I copy the 8gig to the 1TB and keep everything in C:// it works no problem. I’m hitting a mind-block! if I try boot into the XBox.dash I get the green ERROR 21: because of the INDI_BIOs i have repeated step one and have a working 1TB again but is there full step by step instructions online on moving everything to F://
