Work In Progress

Recommended Posts

This is still a work in progress

Port 3 has a DVD Dongle and a USB socket that can be used simultaneously with the IR receiver behind the eject button and no holes I still get 10+ meter range

Port 4 is for the OGX360 linked to port 1 and 2

Next is a ram upgrade and an HDMI by N64freak then the X2duo chip that's got Xblast and X5032 on it will be removed.

Then when it's all working to my satisfaction it will get striped and thinking of getting it hydro dipped if not a mate is a automotive spray painter.

Soft modding is like masturbating, It get's the job done but it's nothing like the real thing.

It's now got 128 meg ram a N64 freak's HDMI kit along with some tidy up of the cables and a test fitting of the DVD and HDD mounting plastics.

I have also turned the USB so the contacts are facing down.

And looking at this pic I need to reprint the USB bracket in black.

Things to make and do next is wireless(IR) power on/off control with external input for the DVD remote control from my IR repeater system.

If you see any thing or have suggestions good or bad let me know.

Cheers

      Hi,
I managed to buy a PAL copy of THPS4 and a USB adapter for my Xbox, thought my old rooted phone would work with it. Sadly, there is an issue with it that I wouldn't have thought of before. This particular phone seems to host a partition with USB drivers automatically - for example, when I plug it into a PC it shows up as a CD-ROM which allows you to install the USB drivers.
In DriveDroid this driver image seems to take up the first image slot out of the three available and I can't get rid of it in any way. Clicking eject only clears the slot for a couple of seconds, then it hosts the image again. Even with a 16 MB empty image hosted in a different slot the Xbox keeps saying that my drive is corrupted. Any idea how I could get my phone to work?

When downloading any packages to your computer there is still a default .xbe in them. and all Xbox apps/games have a default.xbe they have to or you cannot ever launch anything  Instead of a .exe which the computer reads for launching programs and apps, the xbox has a .XBE XBOX Executable. The XB stands for XBOX and the E stands for executable.
Anyway I downloaded the Gamers - Emustation Artwork Stuff from the following link:
      https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1a3ZaFTuuu5L7lDbnOjmA5tlHhrwpWFKC?usp=sharing
Which is the link found in this topic:
I am now going to copy and paste an exact quote from the Topic Creator:
Yet there isn't a single default.xbe anywhere in that package which means there is no possible way to run the installer at all. Furthermore the xbox reads the following extensions for images png - jpg - tbn - bmp (The proper dashboard still has to be used as some dashboards cannot read certain image files.)
Anyway after looking through the package, there isn't any proper file extensions for the xbox to read either.
Someone needs to create the proper picture formats so the dashboards can read it and say what dashboard those pictures go with, place those pics in the properly named folder, .rar that folder, and uploaded it.
All someone needs to do then is download it, unpack the .rar file, and copy the folder that has all the pictures in it, onto the proper section of the xbox.
Right now there isn't even a way to run any of this off a disk or the HDD.
it's a complete shit show with no clear simple easy instructions.
I shouldn't have to still connect the xbox to the net to download what I already have just to get it to run.
This whole thing is a major and complex mess.

After lots of searching / reading topics, this is my first post and a newbie question ... I can't seem to set up my Amiga games to load and / or play properly on Ninja?!?!?!
Any help will be appreciated as I've been able to get other formats going and added artwork, categories etc however getting an Amiga game to work has me stumped
