I get error 13 when I turn my Xbox on without pressing and holding the power button. I have the Aladdin chip and boots up into xbmc fine but I really like my old dash to work aswell. Is it possible? Thanks Did you install a new larger hard drive - SATA hard drive with an IDE-to-SATA adapter? If so, did you swap out the stock 40-wire 40-pin IDE cable for a new high-speed 80-wire 40-pin one? If not, do so to fix error 13. Is the BT pad on the Aladdin modchip directly connected to ground or does it have a wire running towards the front panel connector to tap off of the power button signal? If the latter, a short tap of the power button should boot into the stock dashboard. Modchip disabled. A long power button press enables the modchip to boot the BIOS stored on it which loads, if installed, a replacement dashboard. XBMC in your case. captain Posted January 20 Author Report Share Posted January 20 Thanks for the response. I've managed to get the dash back by reformatting the 1tb sata drive. I've added emustation as my other dash to load from modchip but now I can't seem to connect to the downloader or able to update anything. It worked fine on my first install and nothing has changed so have no idea on why it's doing it that. I've spent about a week on this thing now and its just got to many bugs to get it working correctly. Very close to giving up. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
