Yeah, I DID mention to him that eliminating piracy on a console like that would be VERY difficult and probably require an account, and internet connection and a server to negotiate with. It would be difficult to get a lot of people on board and I suggested that it may have to happen on a donation basis alone and to hope for the best. If he is pursuing it on a newer console he may be able to make it worth it to have an OG version if the game is theoretically popular enough. Meerjel01 Posted December 8, 2023 Author Report Share Posted December 8, 2023 My thoughts was that I would tell people to wait with the pirating until it's no longer payable and hope people would respect it or try make it a law and call free copies of the game stealing. An older idea was to put up a high enough donation pool to release the game and still get payed for making it. I could release it for free but I don't know if I'll get rewarded enough for it.
