Original Xbox - Not powering on after stupid mistake!

Hi All,

Looking for some advise.  Have an original xbox (1.4) modded with Open Xenium & XBOXHD.  After doing some cable tidying I had the xbox running, and without thinking put the top case back on. The system turned off, and when I press the power button there is now no lights on the front of the console.  The only lights present are solid red on the Open Xenium & slow flashing blue on the XBOXHD board.

First thoughts were that I blew a fuse, but having lights on the mods would suggest that there is power to the motherboard.  Any suggestions or have I f*cked it?

Best to upload some good pics of the inside to a file share site and add the links here..

Soft modding is like masturbating, It gets the job done but it's nothing like the real thing.

I recommend removing the board out from the housing and looking over it closely. you might find a blown component or a busted trace somewhere. may look brown or black in color. check the front panel also. sounds like you shorted something.

Hopefully a trace just lit up like a bulb and can be bypassed!
