Hey Guys! I got my hands on a xbox 1.6 with Aladdin xt plus 2 Chip. I really like it, but somehow there must be some stuff screwd up. Im trying to use the IGR, but I can't get it to work. I tried all Hotkey combinations I found on the internet, but nothing works. That was the first thing I noticed. On the Xbox is xbmc. If im going to settings where the "about xbmc" option is, nothing happens. It doesn't show me anything. The Dude who sold me the xbox said, XBMC 3.3.3 is installed. XBMC itself show me on home screen, there is a newer version 3.5.3. I researched and found out aboashboard.ut Rockky5s XBMC4Gamers, which looks incredible. I did some more research to find out how to get it run. So I found out, on softmodded xbox you need to make Shortcuts. But on Hardmodded Xbox you can change the Boot directory. Well... so I downloaded, XBMC4Gamers folder from Rocky5s Github, put it on my E drive and in settings/Programs/General under Dashboard directory, I switched it from C:\xboxdash.xbe to E:\XBMC4gamers\deafault.xbe But nothing happens when I reboot. Still same old xbmc Dashboard. Also I noticed there is on the C Drive another Dashboard Called evoxdash.xbe. If I try to start from this nothing changes either. Im not sure if I do something wrong or if there's something wrong with the xbox. Maybe someone can help me out. Also I ask me the Question if there is any new BIOS for the Xbox that I should install. How do I know which installer CD I have to use? There are so many out there...

Hi guys, First off I want to thank everyone for their help along the way I've learned a lot from this forum sure I could have had other people do it for me But honestly I wouldn't have learned as much but I still have a few questions so I'm going to go ahead and post them here (1) I have a whole bunch of burn CDs for the Dreamcast could my Xbox read them? (2) with my 500gb IDE drives now installed 110 gig devoted new Xbox games another 80 for coin-ops and probably another hundred for SNES What would you add now if you were me (3) I'm thinking of skining my Xbox is there a site still that I can get skins I really don't want to paint the unit I could buy a bus in Xbox and paint it that case and then just transplant my own but I really don't want to go to the time and after that

im waiting for the alladin plus x2 chip to come in the mail while waiting I have installed my break away header and the corresponding wires needed and cut the l trace my question is what does the xbox do when you tun it on without the chip and the trace l trace cut my xbox is a 1.6

Well I'm just discovering modding scene this year and I have a hard time understanding some basic things or finding some proper explanations for them. I bought an already hardmodded xbox so I don't even know much about what is in it and how ot modify it. Basically I have an UnleashX dash and I was able to upload games, play them, and change my region from PAL to NTSC to unlock higher resolutions. But now my current goal is to change my HDD to a 2To one and there are many things I don't know/understand and can't find much on it. - I will be using latest CHIMP and when I read instructions (https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Rocky5/Chimp261812/master/E Partition/Install instructions.txt), I'm not sure was 'installing means in that context, is it just copying the files to one of the liste folder or is there something more to do ? - I was told my dash seems to not be the latest version, I know I can get the last version here : https://github.com/Rocky5/Xbox-Softmodding-Tool/tree/master/Extras Disc/Softmod/dashboards but when I look at the full path of that file in the git repo I'm not sure if I can use that with an hardmodded console ? And if I can what is the exact process to upgrade my dah or even install a new one ? - Same thing for the bios should I upgrade it and if yes how can I do that and with what tool ? - I'm asking those questions about dash and bios mostly because I fear that obsolete versions of them could lead to problem when cloning my disk with CHIMP, but I also definitely plan to install a new dash when the change of hdd will be done - Is there a magic tool which would allow me to have a full view of what is installed in my modded xbox ? especially what bios and what version ?

Is there a place where I can get an upgrade for my old xbox? I was looking for one those freidmtech dream series, but to my bad luck their website is Offline? is there any possibility to get and upgrade console somwhere else? ebay doesn’t have any. Thanks for any possible replys.

Hi Guys. I have a couple of questions about two emulators; XBoyAdvance and SNES9XBox. SNES9XBox v6b08 - An icon for the emulator does not appear in the Unleashx dash like it does with the other xport emulators I have installed. How can I add an icon for this emulator to appear in the Unleashx dash? XBOYAdvance v24b7 - As I understand it, this emulator can run Gameboy, Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance games. I have installed the extras pack for Gameboy games, art and videos etc. I was about to add Gameboy Color games when I noticed that there are some duplicate games for these two systems. I was planning on putting the Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance games in different directories than Gameboy games so there shouldn't be an issue there. My question has to do with the box art, cart art and videos. How do I ensure that media for gameboy games wont be overwritten by Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance games if I put the media for box art ect in the same directories? For example, there is a version of the game Battleship for both the Gameboy and Gameboy Color. If I add the art files for Gameboy Color version of the game in the same folder as the Gameboy version, it will overwrite it. How do you use this one emulator for all three types of games (Gameboy, Gameboy color and Gameboy Advance) if there are some games duplicated among these systems?
