I'm trying to put together the best collection of Xbox games that will fit on a 1TB drive so I can make a 1TB image to speed up my modding process. I can get 1TB drives much cheaper than 2TB drives and there are really a decent amount of Xbox games that MOST people have no interest in so I figured trying to squeeze everything out of a 1TB HDD would be a fun challenge. I wanted to post this first before I got too in-depth to know if: 1. Discussing something like this would be against the rules? I'm not trying to sell anything nor will I be sharing links to where I got any of the games being discussed. 2. If anyone would be interested in taking a look at what I have so far? I have all the Xbox games available to me on a google sheets document that I have recorded how critics and users have reviewed/ rated them and a list of the top games I have come up with so far to be critiqued. If this or something similar has already been done I'd love to see what someone else came up with and also bash my head against my desk for spending the last 2 or 3 weeks making this spreadsheet when I probably should have posted this first.

Hi to everyone! Registered here after often been reading various topics. Ive tried to transfer savegames for Halo 1 and 2 from one console to another, via memory card/flashcard. Although on secondary console in Local GameSaves data is visible with icon, when I copied it to memcard it was blank file with profile name only, 2 of them for 2 games. I've chose copy in File Manager and of course it automatically offered me destination. I couldn't choose free area, selection was only on Back arrow, so I've pasted it like that from memcard on my primary console, UDATA. (Idiot, I know.) So that means I copied it from Local GameSaves on one console, and pasted it to UDATA on another. Now on my main console Local GameSaves menu has Halo 2 icon on it, and almost every previously blank savegame has Halo 1 icon, I think. Also, strangely size have gone to 0 Bts for every single save, that has that data visible (because some don't, some have names, some are without names). I can't find where the files go. Searched through all folders on UDATA, there are no files with corresponding date. I did delete these files from UDATA root, that have today's date, no avail (backed them up on computer). So here's how it looks: Do you know how to solve this?

I just got a 1.6 motherboard with the LPC rebuilt in the mail today, and slotted in an OpenXenium. It included the stock hard drive which unfortunately was destroyed in the shipping process. The drive I planned to upgrade it to, a 500gb SSD, had previously been in a softmodded Xbox which I completely bricked attempting to do an LPC rebuild myself, and was locked with an HDD key of all 1S thanks to Rocky5's Softmod. After installing the new drive, when I try to unlock the drive from XeniumOS it fails. When I try to format any of the partitions that too fails. When I try to boot a Hexen disc, it hangs on the Linux Xbox logo splashscreen for an infinite amount of time, with OGXboxInstaller producing the same results. I even flashed a different BIOS trying to get Hexen to boot. So I installed the SSD into my PC to erase the drive and start over, no big deal. Wrong. My PC will not move past the BIOS splashscreen when this drive is plugged in. I can't even use F12 to boot a GParted USB to wipe the drive. When hotswapping the drive in after Windows has booted up, any attempts to erase it with diskpart or partition manager give me I/O errors, and GPParted too will not detect the drive after a hotswap. I can't interact with it in any way from any operating system. As it stands, I have a modded Xbox and no way to use it. I'm not really sure where to go from here, so any help is more than appreciated.

I was trying to transfer games through FTP using FileZilla in Linux Mint 19.3 to my Soft Modded Xbox which has a 1TB WD SATA HDD (model: WD10JPVX). I configured the Xbox Network settings to a maximmum of 5 users and FileZilla to 4. Every time I tried to tranffer a file, the user counter on the Xbox went up to 5 and FileZilla started showing errors. So I booted Windows 10 with FileZilla. Still, had the same problem. Anyway, I deleted a Game Folder (4gb) from the "G" partition. Suddenly the Message Log window started showing a list of errors. When it finish, I went to the "Games" section on the Xbox and there where no games and the "G" partition which is about 800GB (I believe), had only 4GB free. So I though the the partition was corrupted. I decided to go to the format menu on UnleashX and format the "G" partition. After formating, the "G" partition sowed its true size. So I used "WinSCP" instead of FileZilla to transfer the files. Everyhting was good. It did transfer a lot of games, till I got an error: "Copying files to remote side failed. /G/Games/filename* Directory not found. At this point I had 560 GB free in the "G" partition. Someone suggested to do a clean install and wipe the disk. So I followed a youtube tutorial by Mr. Mario. Put the stock HDD back, Hot Swap the 1TB HDD as slave, started Chimp 261812 and it said that the slave hdd (1TB softmodded) was lock. So I tried to unlock the HDD with all the options given by Chimp and it remain lock. The options were: Unlock... From Motherboard From /tmp/eeprom.bin From Master password: XBOXSCENE From Master Password: TEAMASSEMBLY From /tmp/hddkey.txt So I retrieve the Stock HDD and put the 1TB Back in and... now the xbox wont boot. It says: Service required. Call Customer Service. I don't know if the HDD is faulty... I tried to run a test by putting the HDD into my laptop but it ask for a HDD Master Password and tried XBOXSCENE and TEAMASSEMBLY but they were invalid. I don't know what elese to do. Don't know how to unlock it or if its Faulty at this point. Should I buy a 2TB at this point? I don't know which 2TB model would work...

My wife says I have an addiction. I have too many and I will only keep TWO. I have many working xboxes - all tsop flashed and most with upgraded IDE drives / cables. Not going to ask for a fortune. My hobby was mostly fixing and flashing all of these. I haven't touched many for a long time - but they work. I have extra cases, power supplies, controllers, games... LOTS. I'm in Canada and would like to sell to Canada but would sell to the US. I will only charge for the shipping and about $5 extra to cover the cost of boxing them up safely. Email me at [email protected] - I live in central Canada (Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan) and yes... that is real. Just north of North Dakota. Send me an email and what you are looking for. It has been a hobby.... time to move on - but I am probably going to always fix these!!

Well I'm just discovering modding scene this year and I have a hard time understanding some basic things or finding some proper explanations for them. I bought an already hardmodded xbox so I don't even know much about what is in it and how ot modify it. Basically I have an UnleashX dash and I was able to upload games, play them, and change my region from PAL to NTSC to unlock higher resolutions. But now my current goal is to change my HDD to a 2To one and there are many things I don't know/understand and can't find much on it. - I will be using latest CHIMP and when I read instructions (https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Rocky5/Chimp261812/master/E Partition/Install instructions.txt), I'm not sure was 'installing means in that context, is it just copying the files to one of the liste folder or is there something more to do ? - I was told my dash seems to not be the latest version, I know I can get the last version here : https://github.com/Rocky5/Xbox-Softmodding-Tool/tree/master/Extras Disc/Softmod/dashboards but when I look at the full path of that file in the git repo I'm not sure if I can use that with an hardmodded console ? And if I can what is the exact process to upgrade my dah or even install a new one ? - Same thing for the bios should I upgrade it and if yes how can I do that and with what tool ? - I'm asking those questions about dash and bios mostly because I fear that obsolete versions of them could lead to problem when cloning my disk with CHIMP, but I also definitely plan to install a new dash when the change of hdd will be done - Is there a magic tool which would allow me to have a full view of what is installed in my modded xbox ? especially what bios and what version ?
