Ideally you should print it in either ASA or ABS (or even PA-CF) as it needs to withstand the temps from the PSU/CPU/GPU. You'll need a big printer too, this is 30cm at it's widest but there are lots of 3D printing companies out there with the right equipment to do this for you

I'll release the STL files soon, just tweaking them now. It will take a 2.5" storage device to the underside of the lid, I'm using an SSD as i had one lying around. The screws go straight through the holes into the thread on the SSD

Well after a bit of filing everything fits. Not keen on the screws on top but it was the simplest solution. Just need to solder the backpack pcb to the oled and do the controller ports and leds and print a power button cap. Still waiting on the front panel pcb too.

Yes I used paint lol, quick and dirty way to edit it. I won't be selling any but I'll freely share the files so anyone can make their own.

And the 50mm fan fits perfectly, I just hope it moves enough air to keep temps at an acceptable level

This shows the 2.5" hdd mount and air ducting on the underside of the lid

Printed in ASA natural. Time to start the build

Xeniumerc Install (Xerc 2.1) - Eventual Success

I think it fades the power/eject leds on and off when in standby. You can choose to have it pulsing red or green -
He did, I still have my trusty upgraded board

I made this one if you want to try it? It just needs converting to stl TX Pro Switch Large button.step -
My parcel didn't get delivered straight away due to me working away for a week. I have it now though and will test it out as soon as i get some free time. Hopefully this weekend

For which lcd? I could make one over the weekend

working on some kind of mounting bracket for the PCB
-
So, obviously wrong connectors (can't find the JST PDHR ones in fusions libraries for some reason) and the two connectors on the back should ideally be on top. Also the button is a right angled one (again the library is lacking a lot). Apart from those couple of issues I'm fairly happy with this, just need to decide on connectors for the breakaway cables.

Added and tidied up the routing a bit

I'll add it anyway, just incase

Fusion 360's is based on Eagle I think, doesn't feel very intuitive to use lol. I've managed to get to this point though (with the assistance of ms paint to edit the 2 x 7 pin connectors to 2 x 6). I've also omitted the yellow wire for the controller ports as they aren't really used. I need to check board dimensions to ensure it fits in the case before sending the info to Dtomcat who has very kindly offered to help.

Thanks would really appreciate it. First time trying to create a schematic in fusion 360's pcb software and its a steep learning curve lol. Effectively its a simple pcb that adds 4 controller ports, power button (using a momentary push button), status led (3mm bicolour common cathode) and female headers the same as the xbox mainboards (for power/eject pcb and controller ports). There will also be a 4 x 1 right angled pinheader to add lan and hdd activity leds with 2 x 3mm leds soldered onto the pcb and the traces running from the led legs to the pinheader (with required resistors in line). I've started but the library seems to not have 2 x 6 jst ph hence the below pic showing 2 x 7 ones. I just need to connect up the controller ports (not added yet) and the switch/power led to the connector footprints.
-
I suppose it would just be a male to female adapter, straightforward enough. I'll be using an internal ogx360 in this anyway, the ports are only there for things that actually require a wired controller. Some of the components have arrived for the pcb, I'll spend this weekend wrestling with kicad lol.
-
This is what I was thinking of doing, unsure of the best way to attach the breakaway parts of the controller to the pcb though. Maybe with a 3d printed bracket that would also attach the whole pcb to the inside of the case
-
I'll get the dimensions to you tomorrow, the cutouts are for the breakaway part of the controller cables. I'll clarify everything in a dm though
-
This "slim" case design uses the breakaway part of the controller cable for the controller ports. My full case design will use the stock controller ports. By adding the power button, controller ports and led's to a pcb it makes everything pretty much plug and play. The oled display will use a 'backpack' addon to allow a connector and cable to run to the openxenium.

I'd really appreciate the help, for now enjoy Vegas man

Bottom side of pcb, pretty basic really. Just need to put it together in kicad (once I figure it out)
