  1. Checkout xbmcmoddforxbox google drive, there is a copy there.
  2. I know it’s a bit late now but if you have any other soft modded boxes ftp the eeprom to your computer and keep them safe.
  3. If it’s a soft mod it will not be the Xbox’s bios, what colour are the LEDs when you try to boot it?
  4. If you have tried booting the xbox with the original hdd in it and had no joy, I think you have another issue. What colour is the led when you try turning it on?
  5. If you drop your original 8gb hdd in you should find you are back to before you installed your 300gb. Then just reformat your 300gb hdd.
  6. As yours is a TSOP you my mess up your hdd but as long as you have a install disk you should be able to recover it.
  7. Do you know what bios you are running as you my need to update it?
  8. If you put the 2TB drive in your Xbox and have the hexen disk in your disk drive, when you turn on the xbox hexen should detect it and ask you if you want to format it. Just unlock your 130gb hdd before you take it out and you can use it in another chipped or TSOPed xbox.
  9. As it's a TSOP you don't need to lock it, are you cloning it because you want to transfer what's already on the 130gb hdd. As you can just build the 2TB with Hexen?
  10. Hi, I have XBMC running as my main dash. In the UnleashX dash which I can load to from the file explorer, there is a XBMC heading that doesn't work, to get it to load XBMC do I just load a XBMC xbe and cfg to the C or E partition? Thanks in advance. G
  11. Can you post a link for the pi guide, just for the info. Thanks
  12. I think you will find they are the same chip. I used kynar 30 gauge on my box, and all work fine.
  13. In the dash menu do you have a games heading? If not you will need to edit the config file so the dash knows where to find the games.
  14. Are you using XBMC as your dash? If so you will have to tell it where to look for the games.
  15. Give it a bit longer and then try it again, but as you are now able to update your bios do you need to update the firmware?
  16. Put the recovery file in the root otherwise I don't think it will find it.
  17. Found this over on Xbox-HQ. This is for updating the firmware. Using Flash Fxp you are going to transfer the file you downloaded (recovery.bin) to your "E" folder. Once transferred you will boot to the xenium os and from the menu select "Recovery Mode" once selected it will automatically find the file and update itself, also it will turn it self off. There has been reports of xbox's freezing up and people waiting up to 10min or so before shutting them off, I would give it at least 5min if it happens to freeze, mine did not freeze and it only took about 2 min. tops. When your machine turns off simply turn it back on and you should be updated with v1.1, if not simply try again. One thing you will want to do is turn the instant boot feature on. "Configuration" > "Settings Menu" > "InstantBoot" just press "A" and it will change it to ON. I would turn "Quick Start" off in my experience when leaving Quick Start on and instantboot on the xbox fragged.
  18. Which evox M8 did you use? try the M8+
  19. yes they are for the firmware, go to https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1cjyjBbca9SXrSdevbAkP2r1GdW49GSE5 (thanks to xbmcmodsforxbox) download a bios (evox m8) load it to your c partition and see if you can flash it using the xenium flash menu.
  20. I think your getting confused between the xenium software and a bios, i think you are trying to load the xenium software as a bios, I gave you the bios sizes in an earlier post.
  21. Have you tried putting the bios you want to flash on to your E partition and then flashing it using the xenium flash menu?
  22. Just had a look at my xenium chip and there is a write protect switch on it. Crack your box and hopefully you have the same, try flashing to it with the switch in the other position.
  23. Check your bios size or it will not load. These are the sizes you need 256k BIOS files are 262,144 bytes in size. 512k BIOS files are 524,288 bytes in size, and 1MB BIOS files are 1,048,576 bytes in size. If it is not one of these sizes it will not load.
  24. you can still update your bios from the v1.0 software. You need to ftp a bios to your hdd, then in the xenium flash menu you need to navigate to it.
