  1. Not trying to take any credit, was trying to help you. But, it was the fix, as per your other thread. To use the older xenium tools as I do, you have to rename the file as flash.bin else it won't even work (assumed you knew), I don't babyfoot each step out for people, just give the direction. I can see why @sweetdarkdestiny has left. Don't blame him. This place has become riddled with idiocy. c'est la vie.
  2. Try going to 2.3.2 first, then 2.3.3 and up sequentially. There is defence code in the original XeniumOS 2.3.1. (self destruct). For example the original Xenium Gold chip will not upgrade either. Need regular 2.3.2. I used to use the old text xbe version of xenium_tools with awkward ones. The CPLD will be locked also, but if you have Xilinx ISE you can erase even if locked, then re-program with the .jed of openxenium.
  3. Same stuff probably on amazon too if easier for you etc. Take your pic really, read the reviews. For expanded poly is what you want. Model makers make the gliders and planes with it. Won't melt the poly.
  4. You can buy the correct polystyrene glue on ebay. Don't use anything else.
  5. OG xbox uses a lot of juice... amps compared to the Dreamcast. This would require a large USB-C power adapter/supply in (W) and a daughterboard for the respective voltages up/down (12/5v) etc and the standby ones too. Some have adapted a powerful compact PSU in the past, but it's a big bit of work and not that small.
  6. Also, looks like it had an X3 chip fitted at some point. Best check the LPC port etc for any shorts/stray bridges too.
  7. You need a good solid working original xbox V1.0 / V1.1 power supply. It's the only way to move forward for testing IMO. You can probably pick one up cheap on the bay or borrow one from a known working box. They don't cost very much, if you've wasted an hour then you've already spent minimum £10/$10+ of your time .... it's not worth chasing otherwise.
  8. The TSOP recovery is very limited to what was flashed to it. It's not often successful to recover it using xblast pro. Much better to just lift the TSOP chip off the board and flash it or replace with a newly flashed one and solder back on. Save you a lot of grief really.
  9. Depends on which format you choose to connect to the Newhaven OLED. Check the Newhaven PDF to see the various data bit modes. The above uses i2c though you can use others instead and just use a pro micro on it's own.
  10. Would bought an orange one, but not at that price. End of story.
  11. Nope. I'd seen it a while ago. Not everyone is into farting about doing videos or editing etc, they just film what they did I guess. You could say 'Videoing is like masturbating, it gets the job done but it's nothing like the real thing.'
