I'd just be interested in the complete front panel as I already have crystals and an X3. Again though, I can't bring myself to drop hundreds of dollars on it. At the end of the day, it's just a cosmetic upgrade, but damn do they look good.

I found a seller with this type on AliExpress. They are all able to be flashed directly from the xbox. No extra diodes, resistors, or transistors on the boards as you can see. The others I've had, like the ones above, I had to remove all of the chips to flash on the pc. Edit: Here is another thread on this. I'll say it again, "This needs to be, a pinned thread".

I don’t have any hate whatsoever for this. I’m just seriously not sure what the outcome is supposed to be. With such an old system, I’m legitimately wondering what good the overclocking is for. Also, is it still a stock console after tampering with it? It seems like the main issue would be the different revisions of boards, all of which have various chips and specs. So it may be difficult to have a one size fits all bios for this.

This doesn’t seem to be a very common modification due to the risk vs reward. I’ve seen where some games are capped at 30fps and 420 resolution so there’s no way to improve them. Also it can cause some games to not run at all if above those settings and lastly, it can brick your Xbox completely. What are you trying to achieve with this mod?

OP has stated that they've already tried 3 hdds. We really should stop jumping to get a new hdd for every problem. Often times it's a simple fix of something small that has been overlooked. And for the love of everything, can we also stop telling everyone to buy an ssd? The xbox just isn't built to utilize ssds to their full potential. This has been proven time and time again. Additional info: I'm wondering if there might be a nulled key issue. I do know that you need to resign game saves after this has been done. Otherwise it can cause issues that the OP is experiencing. -

I have a lot of IDE HDDs if you’re wanting something without the need for an adapter.

Be very careful on how you go about this deal with that price tag. Doing so in DMs is perfectly fine and I wish you luck, but this is 2023 and scam artists are everywhere. Use a protected payment method so they can’t do a charge back on you. Hopefully you’re dealing with a trusted member already. I just want to give that heads up before something shady goes down in here. If in doubt, contact a Moderator.

I’ve definitely had a few games throw that error from the HDD ready pack. Most of them were simply bad transfers. After queued again with the “overwrite if newer or different size” option, they would work. Also can’t stress how much more successful single file transfer is vs. multiple files at once. You’ll find that most people don’t have a working usb to IDE adapter lying around. I still find myself using FileZilla half the time anyway because it becomes a major pain in the arse to keep connecting and d/c. Guess it all depends on what your transferring to and how much.

If you were to swap to an 80 wire IDE cable, UDMA4 would work, but with a stock drive, you’re really not doing yourself any favors.

Could be bad a download or bad transfer. If you’re using something like FileZilla, only transfer one file at a time and not a batch of them. This will reduce the chances of transfer errors.
