    This doesn’t seem to be a very common modification due to the risk vs reward. I’ve seen where some games are capped at 30fps and 420 resolution so there’s no way to improve them. Also it can cause some games to not run at all if above those settings and lastly, it can brick your Xbox completely. What are you trying to achieve with this mod?

    OP has stated that they've already tried 3 hdds. We really should stop jumping to get a new hdd for every problem. Often times it's a simple fix of something small that has been overlooked. And for the love of everything, can we also stop telling everyone to buy an ssd? The xbox just isn't built to utilize ssds to their full potential. This has been proven time and time again. Additional info: I'm wondering if there might be a nulled key issue. I do know that you need to resign game saves after this has been done. Otherwise it can cause issues that the OP is experiencing.

    I have a lot of IDE HDDs if you’re wanting something without the need for an adapter.

    Be very careful on how you go about this deal with that price tag. Doing so in DMs is perfectly fine and I wish you luck, but this is 2023 and scam artists are everywhere. Use a protected payment method so they can’t do a charge back on you. Hopefully you’re dealing with a trusted member already. I just want to give that heads up before something shady goes down in here. If in doubt, contact a Moderator.

    I’ve definitely had a few games throw that error from the HDD ready pack. Most of them were simply bad transfers. After queued again with the “overwrite if newer or different size” option, they would work. Also can’t stress how much more successful single file transfer is vs. multiple files at once. You’ll find that most people don’t have a working usb to IDE adapter lying around. I still find myself using FileZilla half the time anyway because it becomes a major pain in the arse to keep connecting and d/c. Guess it all depends on what your transferring to and how much.

    If you were to swap to an 80 wire IDE cable, UDMA4 would work, but with a stock drive, you’re really not doing yourself any favors.

    Could be bad a download or bad transfer. If you’re using something like FileZilla, only transfer one file at a time and not a batch of them. This will reduce the chances of transfer errors.

    It downloads only the artwork for Ressurrection Xtras rom set. It doesn’t scan your Roms like the Xbox Artwork Installer does

    I would recommend keeping it at 256kb until your HDD exceeds the 4TB mark. Here is KaosEngineer talking about it a long time ago. Ignore the “5 months ago” post time. This pic is old.

    I truly looked a few places for the logo to fit behind the jewel, but with shipping times, I did t want to risk it. I just went generic navy and went light on the coating so the LEDs would still shine through.

    I’m extremely interested in getting one of these some day. I really need a crystal version though. Found one on eBay and dude wanted $700. I don’t think I’ll ever bring myself to drop that much on one. Holding out in high hopes that the reproduction of these starts soon. It’s only a matter of time.

    I'm sure there are dishonest sellers put there, but I've not had any bad experiences thus far. The feedback does play a good role in that I believe. Especially when they're not copy and paste testimonials and from US users. This may also be true. At the same time, it's no different than an ebay store or online retailers. Bad reviews will no doubt steer future customers away. I asked the person if these are the exact chips I will receive. They replied promptly with good English and I took a chance. Glad I did because after I tested it, I ordered many more from them. All flashed perfectly fine from the xbox itself.

    Ok, well you've quoted me in both replies so they're no doubt, directed at me. Now that that's cleared up, I'll make it crystal clear for everyone that NO, not all of them are able to be flashed from the xbox. If you're smart and do your research, you can determine which ones are. Or, simply click the link I provided and contact the seller.

    Well, I never made that claim at all. I provided a link to a seller that sold chips that are verified to be flashable from the xbox. I also said I had bought some that werent, during my hunt. So please read first before posting that my comments are false or inaccurate. That doesn't help the thread in any way whatsoever

    Yes. And I just use xblast why would I lie? Order one for yourself HERE is a thread on the matter and there was also another one about the same time I’ll add it also, if I can find it. If you make sure to buy the ones talked about in the pictures, then you should be fine. I tested the information and it was true. That’s all I can say

    I’ve gotten all of mine except for one from AliExpress. Was in a rush for that one and resorted to Amazon for double the price. Luckily it took two purchases to find the right seller. Only bought one from each to test the water. Then I ordered a batch from the link above and all were flashed just fine.
