  6. Anyone know where to find the source code for the Xbox version of ScummVM? The last one I recall was version 1.4 or around there.

  8. Do you happen to know if there is any devs that might be able to / or want to tackle such a project? Its funny that the Sega Dreamcast has a constant updated version right on the scummvm site and the xbox has nothing.
  9. Thanks for the clarification, I got the games up and running. What is the latest version of ScummVM, is it version 1.4.1 from Mar. 22 2012? Is there any chance it could get updated to a more current version or is the Xbox max out at that one?

  11. I am using xbmc emustation and scummvm emulator. When looking at scummvm on the dashboard it shows how many games you have playable. However I have games in there and they aren't showing up in the list. However if I go into file browser and just start the scummvm default.xbe to launch the emulator, I can load the game just fine and play. Is there some kind of disconnect in how xbmc emustation is seeing (or not seeing) the game?

  16. You know, I didn't have any in mind exactly. I was overly curious if DosXbox could play dos games even up in the mid to late nineties. I guess I would like to figure out how broad of spectrum could be played. From the early games all the way up to the later ones. I'd like to have a massive Dos collection on my Xbox.
  17. Also, are you using DosXbox like the one from here: Not sure if there are different ones that work better than others, I myself am trying to research this all and figure it out.
  18. Thank you for the reply! Trying to run anything right now at the moment, just because of the original post asking about why Doom is running so slow. I was just more Curious overall because I wanted to get the 128 MB mod done and the idea of running all kinds of Dos games on the Xbox through dosXbox would be great! Trying to really gather information as to if there could be optimization done in order for more games to run well or what would be causing limitations and performance issues. I bring this up because I haven't been around on these forums long enough to know if this has already been discussed.
  19. I would be interested to see if anyone who had that mod done could test that out. If they would be able to test dosXbox without and with the mod, to see if there is much of a performance boost. Especially in a game like Doom because there are Source ports that run perfect but it would be interesting to see how well it ran Within dosXbox. That way it could be tested to see how many more dos games would be able to run on the Xbox overall.
  20. Just trying to follow up on this, because I'm very interested in doing to mod. Can anyone confirm it does improve performance? If it does help with DosXbox then that would be more of a reason to get it done.

  22. Checking to see if anyone has ever tried or known someone who has tried to port the Marathon trilogy to the Xbox? I know the source code is here: https://alephone.lhowon.org/ I've seen this running on the Dreamcast, but have always thought it would be great for an Xbox version.

  25. Yeah it's through XBMC Emustation, so that's probably why isn't it. Well I guess I'll just wait to have built up a large assortment of xbox games and just take the hard drive out and plug directly to my PC.
