    You can't make any changes with Evtool because it's basicly not an EvoX bios anymore.

    The only, more or less, valid point I gave Dustin is " we can't support it because of legeal reasons ". However, with this in mind, he should also not support TITAN/EvoX in anyway even TITAN is just a patch it could be considered as "warez" because it's for a hacked/non legal bios. So in my opinion, he would need to write a hole new bios from scatch (Not to sure about the US laws here) or use something like cromwell as base which than would mean no games can run on it. To me that all just sounds like excuses. If he cant do it/is not willing to do it, why not provide some infos to team cerbios so they can add support for his stella/hd+ in a gentleman's agreement way not to leak any shit ever (both of them are closed source right?)? And yeah I know, money makes the world go round and that probably the only real reason here. So even I repeat my self, I consider MakeMHz as new Xecuter and even they supportet all bioses. ^^

    That ofc could be possible. Jokes a side, I guess the problem was that I wasn't aware af the fact that pin 29 and 31 are bridget internally and in combination with me tracing down the L1/D0/HD on the Aladdin PCB from Ryzee I didn't noticed that L1 isn't connectet to the pin like it's on the Xeno chip. However, this rises the question if you could connect pin 31 to DO (pin 29) as well as it seems to me that both "do the same". If that would be possible it would not be needed to lift that one pin. I guess, I will try that on the next chip.

    Ladies and people without boobs, problem solved. As we all know, i's never the fault of the guy on the iron except when it is. So the poblem was RS -> L1 -> Pin 30 (B9) which is actualy Pin 29 and goes to D0 instead of L1 and the other problem was E (Pin 31 (B10)) which didn't goes on L1 on the Xenochip. And to take it a little step further, there is no pad at all you could solder E (Pin 31) on the Xeno. So to solve that you need to lift the pin 31 a bit and solder strait to that pin.     Yes, found that mod after talking with Lukas. But atm, I don't want to order any PCB's, just want to recycle the 2 Xeno Lite I have laying here. And I still have 50 XBlast-Lite PCB's here but not all parts for them atm (If you need/want some of the PCB's drop me a PM and I send you some over 4free. ).

    Alright, I MAYBE found the problem but to confirm my theory, I would need some help since I do not have any of these clones hand Ryzee uses for his mod. I have measured the LPC to Lattice connections.     Hey. Today I found the time to do the mod. However, I didn't used a AladdinXT clone, I used an Xenochip lite modchips I have laying around. Both have the same LC4032v, connect them in the same way to the pads so what can go wrong right? So the problem I have is that the display did not display anything. It lights up and I have fancy black blocks on it but, thats it. X4G is setup for it right (contrast to 20%) and I know that the display works (testet with an SmartXX). Checked that on a non modded chip and it's the same.) Vo -> HD -> Pin 9 (A10) RW -> Ground. D7 -> SST Pad 10 -> Pin 43 (A3) D6 -> SST Pad 11 -> Pin 42 (A2) D5 -> SST Pad 13 -> Pin 41 (A1) D4 -> BT -> Pin 26 (B7) VSS & Backlight- -> Pin 27 (Ground) VCC & Backlight+ -> NONE, just the pin from the LPC header. Note: Just 1 huge ground on the Xenochip Lite. So any help would be welcome.

    Ofc you're right. If you would have to pay one to repair this, it's beyond economical repair. And it takes some skills too to repair this. I was just talking about doing it for fun and the cheating thing was just a little joke. #DaveIsAlwaysSoSerious

    The HDD needs to be unlocked in the first place. If the HDD is locked to a different XBox you have a key miss match and the xbox will not boot. However, you can boot an old very old slayer installer (the ones without BFM bioses) but you wont be able to install anything. The HDD will just show up blank. Not even to sure why slayer is able to boot with a to a different locked XBox but it will show you that your MB is fine. The only problem you have is the HDD.

    I would say your MB is fine. Error 06 : Incorrect hard drive password. I assume, that the HDD is locked to another xbox. If you put a different HDD in your XBox and boot up an installer diesk of your choice you should be able to set up the new HDD and your XBox should then work fine.

    Every IDE drive works on the XBox. Every. And or the yellow wire just search for the right points. Maybe an SATA adapter works on 1 or 2 drives (guess one with Panasonic (it was I belive) conroller (like in the LG`s). You talk about original games on a "hacked" drive. Again, that comes down to firmware lvl and needs to understand what the og xbox dvd drive does, what the xbox does and so on. Then rewrite a firmware or create something like an adapter board which then holds a firmware to translate I/O. So your post offers nothing new for your own topic. And I think I should stop because I'm tired of saying you need a firmware to make dreams come true. I'm out here.....

    Still comes down to the drive firmware and where to connect it, to usb? (Not possible (didn't even work with an HDD). Didn't even works with a modchip. Reason is the same as above, DVD firmware (except for the 8163b which can do it (not even to sure why)). You need a skilled coder for a drive firmware in the first place which also means that you have to reverse engineering the xbox dvd firmware and the firmware of the 360 drive (or which ever drive you plan to use) ect. pp.. Thats the point you need to start. From there you do/plan the next steps.

    Well, I don't say it's impossible or can't be done. And I'm not closed minded. But I also do not close my eyes and see downsides which you may should consider as well to avoid running blind in one direction. There is also the point that the work puting into a project needs match the use (Hope that makes any seens). So if you put 1, 2, 3 years of work into a project for 50 ppl. that makes not much seens other than you have proven that it is possible. Consider that you can get the 4 PC drives and for at least 2 of them you can get new lasers and one of them can read OGXBox games. So maybe, just maybe, it is smarter to work on an SD Card based ODE thing which will work on a retail xbox. As a baseline I would say that you have just one game on the card which boots right away when powering on the XBox. This would also eleminate the fact that all DVD's will die soner or later. Anyway, I repect what you try to do and I wish you luck for it but it takes more than just an idea.

    Well, I apologies for bursting bubble after bubble but face reality. I did not say that it isn't possible, you just need to find that one man/woman who is able and willing to pull this of just because he/she can and just for the fun of it. And that is the major problem here. You may have more luck in the XBox discord since there are more of the guy's/girl's who can do and/or have at least more infos on how you can or can not do it. You need 1: ppl with knowledge from the 360 scene as well as 2: ppl from the OG scene and join them for a project like this. Or you pay an engineer who then can do it as a full time job. What you plan is a huge project which didn't pay of at all. However, it's super nice nerd stuff and I would like to see it happen but I highly doubt it. And one thing more. This topic has round about 600 clicks. I bet my ass that some ppl with huge knowldge have read this topic but no one has made a post. And without looking at your sub reddit I would say, that there is also no good post that takes the project a step further. So if I were you, I would start a request on the xbox discord channel (if not already done). And again, sry for bursting a bubble or meybe being rude in anyway. It's not my intention.
