Help: Running Chihiro games on a Debug Kit?

I’m having trouble getting Virtua Cop 3 to launch on my debug kit. Is this even possible? Any suggestions?

launching the VC3.XBE hangs on the initial Xbox loading screen. Using the different Chihiro Launcher XBEs throws an error that the executable cannot load.

any ideas? Has anybody gotten this to work?

I believe you need the retail game launcher  app / tool installed on the Debug Kit.

I need to look for it.  BBL.... :)

Edit: Getting close - xbins.org info on it

https://www.xbins.org/nfo.php?file=xboxnfo974.nfo

Actually its a BFM BIOS to load on a development kit or debug kit to allow retail xbes to run.  I believe a debug kit's BIOS normally only runs development XBEs, not retail.

There you go:

https://downloads.diodematrix.com/homebrew/xbins/Console Based Applications/bios/GueuX-NeT/Hack-devkit-GueuX-V2.rar

Hopefully, there's enough information from these two items to figure out how to install and use it.

Thanks for the suggestion. Using the steps you referenced I was able to launch the Chihiro Launch XBE but it leads to a black screen and flashing orange and red LEDs on the Xbox. Hardware problem? I’m hoping I didn’t just fry something...

The console still boots and runs fine, but trying to run the Chihiro Launch XBEs gives the red orange LED error. Scary.
