nikeymikey
Shouldn't it be 640x480 for 480p recording? That is a 4:3 aspect ratio resolution. A 16:9 widescreen 480p would be 854x480 (I think) which maybe a non standard resolution. 1280x720 for 720p.... which is 16:9 widescreen. My XBMC4GAMERS dash runs on 720x576 even on Composite for some reason. My CRT is however not a 4:3 it I believe is 5:3 if that ratio even exists for TVs. OBS recorder doesn't give information if its 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio. 720x480 is 3:2, its a rabbit hole, very technical. xbox renders @ 640x480 then conexant encodes it to 720x480 and TV scales it to 4:3 or 16:9.
