The .xbe file format seems to be reverse engineered, but as far as actually compiling them goes, you still need to use Microsoft's official tools from 2003? Which also means not being able to use modern C/C++ features...? I'm having a hard time believing this. Are my Googling skills just bad, or has nobody bothered to fork gcc or clang or modern?

it's possible that Lynx runs fine on Windows 8.1 because I downloaded it and it was apparently fine but when I embedded several files inside the XZP file corrupted, and when I embedded only one file inside the XZP got buggy

I am interested in something like Qwix or C-xbox tool but which also allows me to use an ACL file for the chosen xbe. As far as I know ACLs are only used with DVD2XBOX (which can use the context menu on extracted XBEs in its file explorer to process with ACL files, for anyone looking for that functionality).

Is there a tool to achieve this? I'm upgrading the HDD in my Xbox, and after the initial formatting I would like to load it with data from another PC using a sata connection instead of transferring over the network. I understand the Xbox formatted drive is a format Windows does not natively like, but is there a tool or Linux equivalent so I can mount the drive outside of the Xbox? Thanks again,

Hey guys, sorry if I put this in the wrong section but wasn’t sure where it fit. Basically, trying to figure out how to operate without running Windows for a bit. 1) I cannot get Chimp261812 to run if I FTP from something other than windows. I tried FileZilla in the latest macOS and Ubuntu MATE, and plain old file explorer and FileZilla in windows. I heard a couple other reports of this and thought it was total bs until I actually did it. 2) I need to use Xboxhdm to hook up and build some new drives soon for a couple dead consoles. Does anyone know if Rocky5’s xboxhdm23 works through WINE? I have an entire Windows install just for these two things, would love to be able to eliminate it.

Hey guys! Title explains it all. I'm trying to track down this old package I saw on ISOZONE once. I had it installed on my box before and now can't use the machine it's currently saved onto. Was hoping someone here had/used it. Thanks!
