  1. Is there a tool to achieve this? I'm upgrading the HDD in my Xbox, and after the initial formatting I would like to load it with data from another PC using a sata connection instead of transferring over the network. I understand the Xbox formatted drive is a format Windows does not natively like, but is there a tool or Linux equivalent so I can mount the drive outside of the Xbox? Thanks again,
  2. Decided on a used 500 GB WD Blue HDD in the end, keep the costs down while still giving space for games. Tracking down a 80 wire IDE that was long enough was tricky and a bit expensive, so spent the difference there.
  3. It's a choice between these two, both the cheapest in my area: https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/HDDWD10011/WD-Green-120GB-25-inch-Internal-SSD-3D-NAND-Enhanc or https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/HDDWD6506R/WD-500GB-25-7200RPM-Internal-HDD--Pull-out-from-No
  4. Hello, I've an OG xbox that I am gradually adding more and more mods to. So far I've softmodded it and also refreshed the thermal paste on the CPU and GPU. My next plan is to flash the TSOP using Hexen, and then replace the HDD. The question is, SSD or HDD? I'll be using a cheap eBay IDE to SATA adaptor, plus an 80 wire IDE cable. My choice is between a 120 GB SSD, or a 500 GB HDD. These are both pretty much the same price. Would there be any notable difference in using the SSD? I'm probably not going to load too many games, but want to essentially load up the 'best of' xbox and then fill the rest of the space with emulators. Thanks,
