Decided it would be a fun idea to add a Xenium chip to my old xbox. Couldn't get the chip to run despite my best efforts so proceeded to remove the pin header and send it to someone a little more handy with a soldering iron. I put it all back together and all I'm getting is 2X restarts and then flashing lights. No power to DVD or HDD by the looks of things. Blank screen no video. Can anyone here spot anything that can be done? Thanks

Hi All, I want to replace the Xraptr solderless adapter for the X3 on my 1.4 board. The pin header I bought for the swap was this -> https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00X77A472?psc=1. The pin headers I bought won't go through the LPC port through holes. The holes seem unusually tight. Or did the Xraptr bork the holes being attached for almost 20 years? The pins are the same thickness as the pin header I received with an Open Xenium chip install I bought recently for another Xbox I own. That board was a 1.6 with LPC rebuild. See the pic of the 1.4 board LPC port and let me know if this looks unusual. Thanks for the advice, Zagman

Is the extra unpopulated fan header on the motherboard (the spot where 1.0's plugged their GPU fan into) powered? I think those pads are missing on version 1.6, but I think Microsoft left them on the 1.2 to 1.4's.

As I destroyed the pin header that came with the Aladdin chip and threw the remains away without thinking I want to buy a replacement but do not know what size pins are best suited for this use. Obviously double row, straight pins required (I assume the spacing is standard) but I'm surprised there is no common length for the pins - on Amazon/EBay etc there are a great mix of pin sizes ranging from under 10mm to 30mm long. What is recommended?

Hello, does anybody have a part number for 12 pin 2 row male header for yellow cable connection ? Many years ago, I followed a tutorial thread that had a part number, but could not find it. Regards, David
