  1. Not sure where you’re located … but if you don’t feel like reconfiguring your setup… you can send the drive to me and I’ll unlock it … you just pay all the shipping
  2. It would replace the OS. So instead of Xblast or whatever OS is on your chip… it would boot to prometheOS instead. Then prometheOS would load your BIOS that you select
  3. There is a way… do you have another working Xbox? If not… do you have an old PC with IDE ports? edit: yes… a 1.6 (reread post). Easiest would be an openxenium… but I believe promethOS is working on different chips now (believe Aladdin is one). so load prometheOS onto Aladdin… plug drive as is into your 1.6 and tell prometheOS to grab password and unlock

    Noisy video

I don’t think it’s they don’t like project stellar. It’s they don’t like the creator and his business practices. I really like my project stellar and HD+ mod. @Bowlsnapperwas a strong critic and really liked the project after ordering a full kit by accident. He might be able to tell you better. There is an open source project in the works by @Harcroft, but it will be a bit before its released.
  5. Working on open sourcing this. Like the original programmer… but gives more visual feedback (made this before my chip version I released). Can program both XOS and PrometheOS. Works nice! Will be a bit because I have to revert things back from changes I made for chip version.
  6. Jlcpcb is the way to go for cheap
  7. https://www.ablcircuits.co.uk/blog/blog-pcb-etching/#:~:text=For this process%2C either cupric, etch rate and continuous regeneration.
  8. Solved it for someone else also (one who submitted the pull request). We worked on it together with the help of @Ryzee119
  9. Correct. Essentially waits for flash to be ready to write again after each write. This solved the verify issues I was having. But speed is my guess also
  10. Add this line after line 173 (from original xenium-flash.cpp in src folder) and recomplile
  11. Thank you appreciate it!
  12. Down to 9. I am currently in the hospital (for my Wife) so I may be a bit more slow to respond... but I will! (on a plus side... Our family has grown by one). @roastedRingwormI haven't forgotten about you... and yours are set aside and not included in the 9. I should get with you by the end of week (so far been extended 2 more days in the hospital)
  13. Before putting a new one on… please go over the board (front and back) for any solder balls or other that may be shorting out something a normal install shouldn’t cause a malfunction like that. Hate to see ya fry another chip
  14. I went to go correct myself with an image… but someone already beat me to it
  15. was just about to post a picture as well... I use a 1.0 to test the picoPromSD's pogo adapter LOL
  16. Looks like a short which let the magic smoke out of the TSOP
  17. Possibly here
  18. So… first thing…. There is obviously a short where there shouldn’t be which fried the TSOP. That needs to be corrected whether you plan to replace the chip or not. May fry something else if you don’t. Then as mentioned previously…. There is a capacitor sitting on another… find its home and solder it back on. In all honesty… not to be mean in any way… it may be best to enlist some help in repairing it.
  19. Which version do you have on your xenium? That may be the issue… not sure though
  20. There is …. I.e it’ll write the eeprom… but you’ll have to use another program to modify the eeprom backup.
