So with the new drive i will be able to use it unlocked. And after i have it formatted and dash installed, I then can use fatxplorer to transfer my large files on to the drive and then done.

I ended up finding a pre configured image to mount. If i still have it i can send it to you. I also found that it depended on which cableni used from my phone to the adapter. And my xbox would only tead it if i first mounted the image with the console powered off then booted up while it was all hooked up. It gave me about 30 seconds of connectivity but that was enough to copy the save file and exploit to the hdd. This is how it worked for me.

I had a softmodded xbox back in 04/05. A friend had done it for me and i have many finf memoies of it. Buy i had no idea what it was actually capeable of. Now i have an og xbox that i just picked up and am looking to get the most out of as i can through an extended period of time.

About to tsop my 1.2. i have the latest og xbox installer disc, my 80 wire ide cable is ready to go, soft mod is in place, I have my sata 2.5 inch adapter and 250 gig hdd to put in. I also have my xonductive paint for the tsop. I have seen all the tutoruals on yt that i can find but i am stuck with wondering if i should use evox or ind bios. This will be my first time tsop flashing and adding a bigger drive. I havent even seen whats on the ogxb disc yet. Is there a tutorial on ogxb installer? Or any other suggestions?

Is there a tutorial on using fatxplorer and xboxhdm23usb to upgrade an hdd? I am assuming you use xboxhdm23usb to unlock and lock thr drives and fatxplorer to dump contents. But what about drive formatting?
