Hello everyone. For those out there who bought a cable from Hyperkin (Errors include flickering and stripes in the image) https://www.ebay.de/itm/224656844177?var=0&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=707-53477-19255-0&campid=5338765356&toolid=20006&customid=DE_1249_2246568 44177.150559540510~ You don't have to throw it away, it gives a solution. The converter and the HDMI cable themselves are tip top. Only the cable from the Xbox to the converter is rubbish. The shielding of the individual cables is simply missing. Unsolder it and use an old VGA cable. Follow this topic: The picture will be perfect. I can't tell any difference to a normal original component cable.

Hi guys, So a close friend's og xbox had a loud pop and smoke when he plugged it in last month so I decided to give him a spare 1.4 that I TSOPed, put in a 2TB with all necessary parts. He purchased a Hyperkin HDMI and for some reason the there seems to be interference/noise (see pics) on the 1.4 but not on my 1.1. Composite is fine on both. All the settings are the same on both og xboxes. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance...

So Hello. I bought hyperkin duke and that made me think man would it be cool to make this work with my original xbox. https://www.hyperkin.com/duke-wired-controller-for-xbox-one-windows-10-pc-black-hyperkin.html I have seen conversion made out of original xbox controller working with windows operating system so can I use that information to reverse engineer usb windows controller to work with xbox? I dont have any clue how xbox recognizes what kind of accessories are attached to controller port? So here are maybe few ideas how approach situation: Combining original xbox controller cable with standard usb cable? Could I use maybe wireless dongle for xbox and hardwire duke into that use it that way? All information is really appreciated.

Hi Guys. I received the Hyperkin HDMI cable today that I ordered a few days ago. Unfortunately it didn't perform any better than the Pound cable, in fact I think the Pound cable is better. I have five XBOXs; three v1.0s, one v1.3 and one v1.4. All of my XBOXs have the Conexant video encoder except for the v1.4 which has a Focus video encoder. Of the five systems I have, two of the v1.0s work well with the Pound cable and the Hyperkin cable, (no interference or noise in the signal). But with one of the v1.0s as well as the v1.3 and v1.4 there is noise and interference with both the Pound cable and the Hyperkin cable, although it's worse with the Hyperkin cable. Also, when I called Hyperkin today to discuss this with them and ultimately request a refund, they were quite rude. I had high hopes for this cable but was left very dissapointed. Just wanted to share this with everyone incase you were considering getting one. I wouldn't recommend it.
