  1. Just curious what feature you're wanting them most that isn't already there?
  2. > would Dustin have a problem then Couldn't image so, if it were actually derivative of Ryzee's work.
  3. > why wasnt there any infighting back then? Couldn't tell you. Probably has to do with them all being acquainted with each other for year(s), and all 3 having each original designs. But you'd have to ask them. I'm just a nobody who hangs around.
  4. This has been covered before.... plenty of times.... They were both independently working on a HDMI mod, and at some point they found out the other was working on one -- and shared info... There's no based on, there's no stolen. Hell even DiscoStarslayer was working on one back then. Had literally any of you been active in XboxDev in 2018~19 you'd know all of this. Instead it's been non-stop 'infighting' and same old scene shit.
  5. Nem, it seems xbox7887 answered your question, will you reply?
  6. Of course. On both system I've let them run for many hours under 100% CPU load.
  7. Perhaps this will be better for you, my good friend. https://github.com/GXTX/XboxOverclock/releases/tag/v1.3
  8. Sounds like your box is broken or something then. I've never heard of anyone complaining about that.
  9. Just do it in software... https://github.com/GXTX/XboxOverclock
  10. 3 major benefits of undervolting vs. raising the fan speed. Prolonged life of your Xbox Prolonged life of your fan Not having to listen to a noisy fan at higher RPMs Even if you replace with a noctua it's still annoying.
  11. Been a bit bored as of late and wanted to see how low temps I could get. Microsoft in their infinite wisdom gave the CPU farrrr too much voltage: 1.7V! Nuts! Well the CPU itself runs perfectly fine at 1.3V (lowest the voltage reg will go without messing with the feedback loop). 1.0: Remove the 0ohm resistor on R2E4 1.6: Remove the 2 0ohm resistors on R2E7 & R2E3 The only drawback of doing this, is you'll no longer be able to push the CPU frequency over ~950MHz. The temperature screenshot is from my 1.6, I'm aware that the 1.6 does not have entirely accurate monitoring, but you can see a clear difference. Both were taken at a ~73F ambient with fan running at 20%. Enjoy.
  12. Agree with the airflow, the only complaint with that, but in return you get permissively licensed files.
  13. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5394953 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4461734 I was able to get both of these printed for $20 shipped via an eBay user doing printing services. Biggest issue is you being in AU, nearly half of the price is just shipping. Not much you can do there.
  14. The $40 shipped for the DVD conversion is already high, can't imagine this will be priced well . 3D printing services doing $20 shipped for the version on thingaverse. Looks cool though.
  15. Any particular benefit by using LoveMHz version of XeniumOS?
  16. I'm still wondering how he came to find the need for the QSB that he's designed, what process did you take? You've already said it's not a clone and it's just similar, but why the need for QSB? What is it doing? What lead you to needing that?
  17. Pretty sure you just need to remove the resistor at R2E7 and jump R2E5 to set 1.45V. The VID pins are internally pulled up so leaving them floating is a logic high. Untested.
  18. I do wonder.... He's said it's not a clone before, just similar, could you produce and talk about the steps that required you to have a QSB? Why is it needed?
  19. XBOverclock is a bad tool and only replaces the clocks at specific offsets in the xcodes. Most scene kernels that support multi, etc, utilize a method of adding the Xcodes from *other* kernels into their own, aka, having 2 sets. So this is why you're not getting OCs. Enjoy some runtime OCs. https://github.com/GXTX/XboxOverclock
  20. Is it slow? Loads in like 2 seconds...
  21. Would love to see how the block is mounted and everything.
  22. Debug kernels should be able to work on 64MB on a X2, they aren't specific to 128MB. But such a shame the previous owner ruined the board by reflashing what was on it. Those usually have internal kernels built in debug mode (checked). I wouldn't really call it a test kit either, just a random run they decided to do.
  23. The point of redump is pure preservation not piracy (what you appear to be looking for?) which is why they don't strip the DVD contents. It's really sad people use that fact as an excuse to download games they don't own. On a retail Xbox the kernel checks for certain things on the DVD such as the security sectors (SS.bin) and similar. Also the unused data on the disc actually does serve a purpose such as aligning contents for faster loading, etc. You simply don't understand because you're a pirate and are only interested in stealing games.
