ShubieTrucker Posted December 18, 2022 Report Share Posted December 18, 2022 I have modded my Xbox with the IND 5004 TSOP BIOS running UnleashX with an HDMI adapter. It runs 480i in the dashboard and 480p in the games I have tried. Are there only certain names that have 720p? I have UnleashX setup to allow these resolutions but there doesn’t seem to be any way to change the dashboard and games to run at it. prtscn Posted December 18, 2022 Report Share Posted December 18, 2022 Handful of games have 720p mode. Some of them are upscaled to 720p like scarface and runs worse than in 480p. Double check if you have enabled 480p and 720p modes in original xbox dashboard. To enable 480p mode in original dashboard press both thumb-sticks together. If you have disabled "flags" of these resolutions, xbox would run games in 480i, even if the game supports enhanced resolutions.
