Don
After the 128mb installation, I get no sound. I tried testing everything and still no luck on sound. It plays all the games fine and no other issues. This is a v1.4 board. Let me know if you guys know anything I should look out for. I tried wiggling wires and pressing down on certain areas where the av is. I also tried reflowing the joint for the av port but still no luck. Any advice would be great. Thanks! Just wanted to chime in: Have you cleaned both the male and female parts of the AV port? It's unlikely that you would be experiencing corrosion issues or poor contact RIGHT after you do a 128MB mod, but it's always worth a shot. Also, did anything about your setup change between before and after?

I did however do alot of mods in a short period of time on this console. It had a bad optical drive so I just decided in the beginning to chip it and a few weeks later, upgraded the ram. Honestly, its hard to say if i did much setup changes because i have a main xbox that I used, so this just sat before I would do most of the upgrades. I have a v1.3 that I set this v1.4 exactly how I had setup the v1.3.

Could it possibly be from a capacitor? I only removed the clock capacitor because I didnt see any noticeable problems with the other caps Edited May 8 by Don
