Hi everyone im new on here, does anyone know what is a good tutorial for Heimdall's hexen?

hello, im new to modding xbox, few weeks ago i bought myself a new xbox, I cleaned it up, aplied new thermal paste etc etc but mainly i wanna try out modding i got myself a copy of the first version of the splinter cell game, and i ordered a female usb to xbox cable, i got an hynix bios chip, so im also planning to TSOP my console. The model is from 2003-06-04. so im guessing its an version 1,3 mobo and does upgrading to 80mm fan improve performance? do u guys have any tips for me or any recommendations on what and what not do to?

I am sure it is just experience (my lack of) but there seems to be a certain amount of Voodoo involved with adding a new Hard Disk to a TSOP'd system using HeXEn I have successfully done it but now I am using a SATA 1TB Drive w/adapter and I am on my third try at it (formatting etc.). Still nothing. I am wondering if my Seagate ST1000DM003 is not compatible or I am missing something? Any advice?

I'm an oldschool guy that was messing with these old xbox's back in the day. i forget all of it now. and want to get back into the swing of things. my sons modded xbox packed it in after all this time and he wants a replacement. I found some boxes and some mod chips but get lost . looking for some guidance from the group .

I'm an OG Xbox enthusiast; bought the original Xbox on launch day, with Halo, DOA3, and Project Gotham. Only started modding a couple of years ago. Looking forward to finding lots of info here, and contributing when I can. Thanks for having me!

Just joined up after finding the site while googling some Xbox related stuff. Been into modding for longer than the Xbox has been a thing. Had a bit of a break from it all and recently decided my stock pile of OG Xboxes needed some love. My background is electromechanical engineering , but now work in IT so I guess modding is in the blood. I always look at electronics and think I wonder what it looks like inside. Glad to be here and to have found an active site that's not got posts that are unanswered for ten years. Hopefully I can learn and teach in equal measures.

I'm trying to go mod a couple xbox's and digging on my hard drives for files and guides I found this little one it, helped me a lot repairing and modding consoles,also I found the ps2 and the gamecube repair guide ....but those belong to other forums.
