About Me

Found 3 results

  1. I have been using Startech Adaptors for nearly over 2 years in Xbox OG with no issues and Amazon are selling these at £18 roughly posted with a Amazon Prime Subscription. The best Deal i have found by far. One day delivery is not bad to be honest, anyone with other Suggestions or Alternative Options ??? Feel free to comment. Does and one have the STL files to Startech Adaptor The Original Version Design.
  2. I have a TSOPED Xbox PAL console and it is running the 2TB Origins image. I had previously set the the video mode to NTSC and was using the HD resolutions fine no problem with a HD component cable, only trouble was the cable was not good quality and caused a lot of buzzing sound through my speakers. So I bought the Bitfunx HMDI adaptor (think it is similar, if not same as the Pound one). Problem I have now is that I can't seem to use it and display in NTSC HD modes at all. If I set the console to PAL the Xbox shows the EVOX boot screen and then loads the dashboard fine (obviously only in the lowest res PAL mode) If I set the console to NTSC the Xbox shows the EVOX boot screen but then the dashboard won't show as it appears the TV is not receiving a HD signal. I am stuck, is there anything I can try? Thanks in advance.
  3. So my previous setup was using a cheapo sata/ide converter with a 80 wire cable, which actually worked pretty well, I haven't had any issues with it, but I decided to try the startech adapter too just to see if there was in fact a difference in loading times instead and I encounter a weird issue. I'm running IND 5003 bios and when I boot the xbox the flubber animation is very choppy and the audio doesn't sync up. It does load to the dashboard but the boot-up is pretty glitchy. I tried another ide cable and messed around with the pin settings with no avail. I could just disable the flubber animation but I'd like to try and get it running smoothly. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
